a/n: sorry i haven't updated in so long :(( my ap exam is coming up so i've been studying soo much. i'll try to update more frequently though. enjoy!!

when the argo II crew had finally gathered on deck, the ship was already descending into camp jupiter. y/n looked over the edge of the ship to look at the dozens of people that had gathered to greet them. she suddenly started to feel a bit more nervous about meeting the romans. she'd heard nothing but good things about hazel and frank, but romans were known for being aggressive. she really hoped they liked her.

a hand touched y/n's arm and she turned to see piper. "don't worry about anything," she said, as if she could read her mind. "they'll love you."

y/n smiled in appreciation and went back to looking at the people as they got closer to the ground. they finally landed and a bridge was lowered. jason led the way and the rest of the crew following, y/n lingering towards the back with vivian.

as she approached the crowd, she saw three people in the front. there was a beautiful girl, just a bit younger than y/n, with dark curly hair and light brown eyes, her arm around a buff man whose babyish face didn't quite match the rest of him. the one who caught her attention the most though, was a serious looking girl wearing a purple robe. y/n could tell she was in charge, and she was slightly intimidated by her.

"welcome back to camp jupiter," the girl said, turning to y/n and viv. "you have a couple new friends i see. i am reyna, daughter of bellona, and preator of camp jupiter."

y/n remembered piper mentioning reyna, and how she used to have a thing for jason. y/n smiled sincerely and addressed reyna. "thank you for welcoming us so kindly. i'm y/n, daughter of aphrodite, or uh, venus to you guys."

reyna nodded and vivian introduced herself next. the younger girl with curly hair spoke next. "i'm hazel, daughter of pluto. this is frank, son of mars." she gestured to the guy next to her and he nodded in greeting.

the rest of the crew caught up with their friends and vivian and y/n just stood and waited for them to finish. leo noticed how awkward they looked and broke away from the rest of the crew to approach them.

"don't you guys want to meet hazel and frank? they're super cool, i promise." he assured. y/n nodded and he led them over to the group. y/n got to know hazel and frank better, and as they conversed the crowd around them slowly dispersed.

"oh, i forgot to tell you guys, you'll be split into groups and given tours of the city! and you'll get to stay in a hotel for the night so we can leave in the morning." hazel said excitedly. the group buzzed eagerly and hazel left to fetch the guides. y/n patiently waited for a few minutes when she returned with two people about their age.

"okay, piper, jason, and vivian, you're with zeina," hazel said, pointing at a cute girl with long curly reddish-brown hair and glasses covering her light brown eyes. "and y/n and leo, you're with milo." she gestured to a tanned, good-looking boy with wavy dark brown hair that was a little grown out, but still looked good somehow. y/n smiled at him and waved slightly, eagerly waiting for her tour.

the group dispersed and milo walked over to y/n and leo.

"well, i'm milo, as you already know. my dad is vulcan and, you're the daughter of venus, right?" he asked, focusing on y/n. she nodded and smiled, turning to leo. "hey leo, he's like, basically your brother." she said. leo scoffed and nodded, not looking amused for some reason.

y/n frowned at his reaction but quickly forgot about it as milo started leading them around the city, pointing out all the ancient buildings and newest shops. "ooh, is there somewhere we could go clothes shopping? i've been rotating the same two shirts for a while now. i mean, i've washed them obviously but, you know." y/n inquired. milo nodded and pointed to a shop down the street.
