ALL EYEZ ON ME.
[ HARLEM, NY ]

Heard about my past,
Things I used to do,
The games I used to play,
The girls that didn't last,
I know what's on your mind...

The classic slow jam "They Don't Know" by Jon B echoed through the speakers as the three boys entered Lucky's Honeeys club. The dim blue-violet lights created a mesmerizing atmosphere, synchronized with the instrumental rhythm of the music. As they scanned the room, they observed strippers stationed in various corners, captivating the attention of men enjoying lap dances. Each woman exuded undeniable beauty, a testament to Lucky's strict hiring standards—he only employed those he deemed attractive, a detail known only to the staff. Juan's gaze wandered to the main stage, where a stripper skillfully moved her body in time with the music, locking eyes with the patrons as they showered her with large bills. It was evident that many Jersey players frequented the establishment, indicated by the scent of marijuana smoke lingering in the air from the blunts being enjoyed by some of the patrons. "Scar? Follow me."

A petite but exotic-looking stripper approached Juan with Rico and Malik trailing behind. Sosa had instructed them to be escorted to a private corner booth where they would meet with the Detroit members. Juan acknowledged the plan with a nod and led the way, the others following closely. He kept his gaze focused ahead, avoiding any distractions, as he remained loyal to Jade. Prior to their arrival, Juan had spent the entire ride to Jersey on the phone with Jade, informing her of his work commitments for the next few days, and she had been understanding—an aspect of their relationship that Juan appreciated. Unlike other women who might make a fuss over trivial matters, Jade remained level-headed. Malik, despite his player persona, found no other woman attractive or significant; his heart still longed for Angela, whom he hadn't seen in weeks and regretted not exchanging numbers with. Rico, on the other hand, was a simple and observant individual. He kept his eyes on their surroundings, making note of any flirtatious glances from strippers glancing their way.

Upon entering the booth, they spotted four men already present, two of whom were receiving lap dances from strippers, clearly enjoying the entertainment. One man, who appeared to be the leader, glanced up from the blunt he was rolling, a smile spreading across his face—an unusual sight compared to most of Sosa's associates. These men appeared young, likely in their mid-20s, and shared the same complexion. "This must be him, the Scar." The man stood up from his seat, greeting Juan first with a dap, followed by Malik and Rico. The three boys reciprocated the gesture, exchanging respectful nods with the other men before taking their seats beside them. "The names Colby," he began, introducing himself and his companions, "and then there's Trell, King, and Mel." Colby introduced his associates, while Rico and Malik likewise introduced themselves by name. Juan focused his attention on Colby, noting his serious demeanor. Colby sported gold teeth jewelry, a neatly trimmed haircut, and a complexion similar to Malik's chocolate skin tone. Despite his elegant appearance, he exuded a sense of being hood rich, with no visible tattoos or anything vulgar in sight.
