JUAN VERSUS EVERYONE.
[ HARLEM, NY ]

One hand gripping the pole's top, she effortlessly balanced, her body moving gracefully around it in a seductive display. With her other hand reaching out to grab the pole, she spun with allure, her straight red hair cascading down her form. Bathed in the club's blue light, her captivating presence was heightened, accentuating her features. Wrapping a leg around the pole, she descended slowly, tilting her head back as she sensually gyrated. Turning her body, she lowered her head towards the floor with one leg raised, relying on arm strength to maintain balance. Emauni couldn't help but be shocked by the sight before her. Now she grasped why everyone was captivated by Roki; she exuded a dangerous allure, defying expectations despite being underage. She carried herself with a poise of a grown woman, radiating an aura of sophistication. Emauni stood there, astonished, admiring her in disbelief.

"Girl, wow!" Emauni exclaimed, still in disbelief, as Roki slowly descended from the pole to join her at the stage, wearing a smile. Emauni sat there, holding a water bottle, her body drenched in sweat from their intense practice session. With the club empty except for them, they secured their spot by arriving early in the morning. Roki, with her knack for knowing everyone's schedule, had it all planned out. "Just wait, with more practice, you'll get there, baby," Roki reassured Emauni with a wink, settling beside her and taking a sip from her own water bottle. Emauni couldn't help but gaze at Roki even more, admiring every aspect of her. Roki embodied everything Emauni aspired to be—free-spirited and bold. It seemed like Roki didn't have a care in the world; she exuded confidence and bravery in everything she did.

What Emauni didn't realize was that Roki was the complete opposite of what she appeared to be; internally, she was fragile and hurting. However, she presented herself as brave because she believed it was necessary for survival. Catching Emauni's gaze as she took a sip, Roki shyly chuckled at the attention, causing Emauni to avert her eyes in embarrassment. "I'm sorry," Emauni apologized, feeling awkward. Roki shook her head, dismissing the apology. "Don't be. I'm used to all those stares," she replied playfully, flashing a smile as she closed her water bottle. Emauni chuckled along with her, then mustered the courage to ask, "You just inspire me. How are you so brave?" Looking into Roki's eyes, Emauni's question struck a chord deep within Roki, as she had never considered herself brave. Instead, she often felt weak, a sentiment reinforced by Lucky's affirmations.
