She was the first girl who dared to slap me. Lucky for her, I consider her mine; otherwise, I would have shown her what I'm capable of. But I needed to know who was trying to create misunderstandings between us. I know she's strong, but seeing her cry while talking to me shattered my heart. I just wanted her to understand that I hold a different reputation from others because I'm the captain of the basketball team.
I stepped outside the classroom and searched for her everywhere, but she was nowhere to be found. I had no idea where she had gone or what she was up to, but I was certain she had left the campus. I wanted to know what went so wrong that she thinks that I wanted to slut shame her.
I started the car and floored the accelerator, feeling the engine roar as the speedometer climbed to 100 in just a few seconds. My heart pounded in sync with the rising speed, and rage surged through my veins, intensifying with every passing moment. I drove down every nearby road, eyes scanning desperately for any sign of her, but she was nowhere to be found.
Frustration building, I raced back home and tore through the entire penthouse, calling her name, checking every room, every corner. The emptiness echoed back at me, deepening my sense of dread. She had vanished without a trace, and all the worst-case scenarios flooded my mind. What if something terrible had happened? What if she was in danger?
Consumed by negative thoughts and unable to think clearly, I locked the door behind me and headed back to my car, determined to keep searching until I found her.
"Kitten, where the fuck are you?" I screamed and ran back to drive my car!
As I sat in the car, my phone rang, and Josh's voice burst through, filled with urgency and frustration. He was yelling about how furious the coach was because I had missed practice. I tried to explain, but Josh cut me off, emphasizing that neither he nor the coach would accept any excuses, especially with the big match coming up next week.
Despite the turmoil in my personal life, I knew I had to rush back to college and join the team. Leaving my worries behind, I drove back to campus, determined to focus on the game, even as my thoughts kept drifting back to her.
