I was fortunate to live in a city like Delhi. I had a direct flight, and my father booked me a business-class seat. After researching extensively about my foster parents, he contacted Mrs. Carter, who appeared to be genuine. Based on this, my father decided to send me to London.
I fastened my seatbelt, turned on airplane mode, and opened the Spotify app. Anticipating a long 9-hour flight, I downloaded some Netflix shows and subscribed to Spotify yesterday. I decided to listen to the song "London Boy."

I arrived in London and as I was leaving the airport, I spotted a lady holding a sign with my name on it. I approached her and asked, "Are you Mrs. Carter?"
"Anaya Oberoi." She asked
I nodded my head and she wrapped me in a warm hug. She broke the hug after a few seconds and said "WELCOME TO LONDON SWEETHEART."
"Thank you, Mrs Carter," I said back
"Oh sweetie, please call me Lily," she announced
We settled in the Taxi and after 20 minutes we reached a 4bhk high-rise penthouse. It was a two-story apartment from the inside. She invited me in and that house felt like home.
"So, Anaya darling, welcome to the family. Your room is on the second floor, just near Noah's room," she instructed.
"Noah?" I asked
"Noah is my son and he has been on a business trip with his father to France. He will be back in 4 days." Lily said
I smiled and nodded
"Anaya, feel free to inform me if you ever feel hungry. Our cook arrives in the morning to prepare meals for the day and departs in the afternoon. You can request any dish you desire," Lily emphasized once more.
As I stepped into the room assigned to me, I was captivated by its feminine decor, adorned with all the essentials I needed. Making my way towards the balcony, I was taken aback as my jaw dropped at the breathtaking view that unfolded before my eyes. The beauty of the scene was truly astounding, leaving me in awe of the panoramic vista.
