Anaya and Aashna had settled at Liz's apartment. It had been two days since they all arrived in London. Josh and Aashna were in touch and were gradually falling for each other, but things were tense between Anaya and Noah. Noah had been coming to Liz's place, but Anaya declined to meet him every time.
Noah was growing increasingly frustrated. He respected Anaya's need for personal space but was desperate to talk to her and sort out everything that had happened between them.

I was done with her stubborn behavior, and it was time to take drastic measures. It was past midnight, and without thinking much, I grabbed my bike and rode to Liz's apartment. Her flat was on the 13th floor, which seemed daunting, but I was determined to see her. I had been figuring out a way to get to her room all day and was left with no other option but to invade her personal space.
I started climbing my way up. Thanks to my height, it wasn't too difficult. After fifteen minutes of torturing myself, I reached her window, and to my luck, it wasn't locked.
"Too bad, kitten," I muttered to myself.
She wasn't in the room, so I made my way in and sat down to catch my breath from the jumping and climbing.
"What the fuck? Who let you in?" I heard her voice questioning sharply.
"You really thought I would give up so easily on you?" I replied, still catching my breath.
"Hey, are you okay? Your elbow is hurt," her voice softened within moments.
She started taking steps towards me and sat beside me, examining my elbow.
"I'll need the first aid kit," she declared, standing up and rushing towards the bedside table. She brought back all the necessary items to treat my bleeding elbow.
"It might hurt a little, but please cooperate with me, okay?" she warned gently.
I couldn't help but smile at how innocent she looked. Her straight hair fell to her waist, and she was doing an excellent job cleaning the mess I had made on my elbow.
"Is it hurting?" she asked, looking at me with concern.
"Noah."
"Yes?"
"Will you stop smiling and answer me?" she said in an aggressive tone.
"And what's the question again?" I asked, trying to sound serious.
"Does it hurt?" she repeated innocently.
"It does, kitten, it definitely does! Your absence, your silence, your anger hurts even more than this wound," I said, looking into her teary eyes.
"But you said that you..."
"Have feelings for you? Yes, I do have them," I confessed.
I closed my eyes because the wound was hurting, and I felt her hug me, locking her hands around my shoulders. The fragrance of her hair filled my senses, and at that exact moment, I realized that this tiny human was my home. Little did I know I could feel for someone again, and here I was, acting like a simp for her.
