I was planning to take her to Edinburgh with our friend circle, but I wanted to ask her if she wanted to celebrate in London or go to Edinburgh. There were still 18 days left before her birthday. The last week had been awful for her; she had been behaving weirdly for a while now. We hadn't done anything intimate either, but comforting her had become my priority.

We were both swamped with assignments since we were in the middle of the term. I was in the campus cafe with my friends, and she was sitting five tables away with the girls. She looked anxious about something, and I couldn't ignore her vulnerability. I got up from my seat and walked over to her.

I pulled her hand gently, and she stood up effortlessly, walking out of her place while holding onto my hand as if she didn't want me to leave. I led her to one of the abandoned classrooms and closed the doors behind us. It was dark, so I switched on the lights and made her look up to maintain eye contact.

"What happened, baby?" I whispered.

She hugged me tightly, resting her head on my shoulder. I couldn't help but wrap my arms around her tiny waist in response. I caressed her hair with one hand to comfort her. I pulled her closer until her feet were no longer touching the ground, her legs wrapped around my waist, just like when we played that game.

She broke the hug and looked into my eyes for a while. There was a third emotion in her gaze that I couldn't understand. When I started feeling comfortable under her gaze, she broke eye contact and glanced at my lips twice. Without any second thought, I slammed my lips on hers, and she started kissing me back. She had been drinking watermelon juice, and its taste lingered in her saliva. She always tasted delicious, but today I was addicted to her. To my surprise, she wasn't hitting my shoulders to stop but was trying to match my pace, getting better at it. Her lips worked longer this time until I broke the kiss to stop.

She took a deep breath, panting heavily. I couldn't help but chuckle, earning a slap on my bicep.

"You're lucky I let you get away with hitting me because others know what I'm capable of," I whispered against her lips.

She smiled and said, "I know."

"Now, answer my question. What's wrong, kitten?" I asked her in a concerned tone.

"I don't know where to start," she said, regaining her breath.

"Start with what's bothering you the most," I said, setting her back on the floor but still holding her hand tightly.

"You're my first everything, Noah, and I don't want anybody else to touch me the way you do," she confessed.

"Why the fuck would you even think of someone else touching you? Am I not enough?" I said harshly.

"I didn't mean that, Noah," she said, breaking eye contact.

"Then what do you mean, kitten?" I asked, widening my eyes.
