"Aashna," I called her out in horror.
I removed my blindfold in seconds and my best friend was standing in front of me. My brain was not able to process what was happening. It felt like a dream come true when I saw Aashna standing in front of me with a suitcase.
My hands covered my face in the response of processing it and I hugged her this time. "You are here. OH.MY.GOD!"
"Yes, I am here for a week," Aashna replied
"Why did you decline my offer when I asked you to come to the UK?" I asked her out of curiosity
"It was all Noah's idea. He helped me with my visa and tickets and that's why I am here. I am glad I am not missing your birthday." Aashna said getting emotional
"Let's get going, I have one more surprise waiting for you," Noah spoke interrupting us.
"again?" I asked
"many more to go." He replied with a wink.
All of us settled in the car and our journey of going back to the villa started.
"so how's everything going on?" Aashna asked
"Good," we replied at the same time
"Tum dono ka sach mai kuch chal raha hai na?" She asked me with curious eyes. (something's going on between you two?)
"Matlab?" I questioned her back (what?)
"You know what I am asking," Aashna said
"No I don't," I said denying her claims
"Tu bata rahi hai ya teri pool patti khol doon uss din call wali." Aashna said threatening me. (You're saying it or do you want me to disclose the stuff you told me on call that day.)
"Ghar poch jaane de sab batati hoon" I said huffing (Let's reach home, I will tell you everything)
"What are you guys discussing about?" Noah asked curiously
"Hey bhagwaan kaha phasa diya hai aapne mujhe?" I spoke dramatically (Oh god where have you trapped me?)
"Just about things happening back in hometown," Aashna said covering things up.
Soon we reached the villa and while entering everybody was present there welcoming us.
"Weren't y'all going to reach in the evening," I asked in shocked
"Well, it was a surprise for you," Liz said
I went and hugged them all. I have never felt this overwhelmed in my entire life. We all gathered in the living area. Aashna started getting comfortable and a little too flirty with Josh.
