I have two friends,
The flying clouds of the day
and the broken stars of the night
and their two companions,
the falling raindrops and,
the snow-butterflies,
then when we all get together,
we get lost again and again,
thinking of you.(Parizaad)

She came to call him for breakfast in his room. He was probably in the bathroom as water running in there could be heard. His laptop was placed, open, on his study table. Being curious, she approached his table and had a look at opened site.
As she read she was shocked. She didn't want to believe it.
"Oh Amy, do you need anything?" He came out of the bathroom and hurriedly moving toward the table he dropped the laptop's lid. And put it on side. He was wearing white kurta and shalwar. It was Friday so he was dressed in these clothes. He had to comb his hair yet as they were disheveled on his forehead.
"You...is it true??" She asked not believing, her eyes were still fixed on that table where the laptop was placed a few moments ago.
"Yeah! I'm going back. Tabriz called me last night. There's some problem at company. I've to handle them by myself, as I'm the president." He started looking around as to find anything.
Then reaching the dressing, he picked up the hair brush and combed his hair looking at the mirror. He saw her reflection, she was still in the same position. He scolded himself internally for hurting her.
She was sad, he was going without telling her this time too. He was very cruel. This was not the first time. He used to make it his habit and suddenly disappeared. It was not the first time. He had done this twice before.
Yes, for the first time, she did not understand that much as she was just a kid. He suddenly left with his father. The same father who had refused to adopt him when he was born and arranged a second marriage after his mother's death.
After his departure, she, who was young, suddenly fell seriously ill. After a week's absence he came back and she also became healthy.
The second time, he left her the way he had gone a few years ago. While she was sleeping, he went stealthily. After he left, she suffered from eating disorder and when she is hungry, she stayed hungry for many days and if started eating then eat too much. She had severe disturbances in her eating behaviors.
This was first noticed by Safi when they were together all the day, at school and at home. He immediately told Dadu because Daddy and Uncle were busy in the office with Baba all day. Aunt didn't get free time from the Zainab and Sha'ban. Both of them always used to cause problem.
He was youngest in the family but he was a keen observer. Nothing was hidden from his sharp eyes.
After a long pause, he spoke up. "I was about to tell you. You saw the message yourself, I'm sorry. I have flight on Wednesday, coming week."
"No problem, I should be going....Do your packing, and if help needed, call me." Saying she moved to the opened ajar door but had to stop at his voice.
"Listen Amy! Uh....I wanted to ask if...grandma told you something?" He asked hesitantly. She turned puzzled at his question. She tilted her head to one side and after thinking a few seconds, shook her head
"Nope, was there anything?" She asked in a carefree way. He was disappointed at her question, so nodded saying "you should go, I'm coming." She went out bobbing her head.
He almost fall in his bed sighing loudly. "What a trouble." He said under his breath.
☆☆☆☆☆She was dressed in her trousers and shirt, she usually was used to wear at home when the Maulvi Saheb came with his father after offering Salah, Jumma. She was wearing a red dupatta to cover her head and face. Soon after, she was married to Hisham in a simplest manner.
She said yes easily but she was burning inside out. It was the effect of all the things Dadu said to make her understand the situation that the only way to keep her with them is to agree for the marriage with Hisham. That would make it easier for her to stay away from those people. But since that, she's giving silent treatment to everyone.
As soon Maulvi left, she removed the dupatta and rolled her stoller around her neck.
She had to share everything with Appiah but she was in her parent's room since night. It was rare but she had to hold herself. She couldn't even ask anyone about the incident occurred last night as everyone was buttoned up about the matter. Even Dadu made her hushed.
Others were in the lawn enjoying the evening with the tea.
Safi was smiling and teasing her for being a married WOMAN. He was tickling and making jokes. She was being ignorant of his actions trying to be engrossed in her phone, scrolling useless.
She didn't knew she was watching the pictures of Hisham and herself, they captured at her birthday in the playland.
"Oh, nice pictures." Someone asked from behind. Startled, her phone dropped in her lap. It was Safi.
"Dadu! Baba!" She called out loudly. Safi covered her mouth with his hand abruptly trying to stop her.
"Please, don't!" He begged. "I'd bring those chocolates for you, your favorite ones." He bribed and she agreed nodding her head vigorously. He gritted his teeth in annoyance but she grinned widely showing her teeth at his pathetic situation.
☆☆☆☆☆He was really happy to have her. But he was feeling upset about leaving her soon. Anyway he had to go there to make things right. Tabriz was handling everything all alone since he came here. He couldn't abandon his business that he grew after a hard time struggling. He had to go.
They were having their dinner. On end of table, Baba was sitting on main chair, with Dadu by her side. Daddy along with uncle and aunt were on their right side. On left were kids, Hisham by grandpa and then Safi and Amy.
Everyone was there except Zainab. She was having her food in her room. She even shifted in Shabby's room. Amy kept asking her for the reason but she stayed tight lipped and cold to her.
Baba asked Hisham about his flight.
"It's almost two days later, on Wednesday." He told taking a spoon filled with white rice in his mouth.
"Are you going to take Amy with you or she's staying?" Dadu asked suddenly. Amy choked at her question as she was drinking water. Safi, who's by her side rubbed her back worrying about her. Everyone's attention was on her.
"Slow down girl." Daddy said politely. As she gained her composure, she yelled.
"Dadu! I'm not going anywhere with this guy. He always forget me as there's no one named 'Amy' in the world. What if I got lost in the world. He wouldn't even care. Thank you I'm good here." She refused at the spot and got up from the table leaving her food unfinished.
"Iman!" ,"Amy", "kiddo" , everyone called her but paying no heed to them she ascended the staircase to her room.
"I'll see her." Safi got up, saying.
"You should have your food, Sufi. She've many to take care of her. You're not her assistant." It was Aunt saying in a venomous tone. Everyone was shocked at her words and way she said. "No one would even budge a little if it was my daughter, even if she's dying in front of their eyes. "
Uncle halted in his way, bringing glass of water to his lips. Was everything gonna go to end that easily? He won't let this happen.
