It was almost a week since she came back to the villa. They were now on talking terms but mostly she was mad at him, throwing tantrums here and there.

Asking maid to do the morning dishes she came to him in the study. After doing breakfast he took his laptop and  for sometime he was busy there.

Sitting on the chair opposite to him she bursted out facing anything other than him.

"I wanna meet him."

He was surprised. His hand ready to flip the page in file stopped. Lifting his gaze from the file he gave her a questioning look.

"Who him?"

She felt awkward at his question so decided to show some carelessness and said as it doesn't matter her or doesn't effect her.

"Don't be that clueless. I'm talking about your uncle who's, unfortunately, my father!" She said throwing a piercing look at him.

"Oh! But you said you don't want to even see his face." He coughed trying to think of the direction she was taking it.

"Oh! I said that about your face too. What? You forgot? That soon? Should I remind you again?"

He became dumb at her open words and shutting the file being apologetic tried to say,

"Sorry! I was just.... taken aback by your sudden..."

"I know! ...My Nonsense... that's what you want to say. Right!" She was assumed on her own and snapped at him.

"No, it's not that..."  He shook his head and hands vigorously completely denying her.

"I know, you don't need to give any explanation. I just wanted to visit.... 'him'." Shrugging her shoulder she shut him again.

His head was pulsating hard, he caressed it helplessly. And at last he said acceptimg his defeat.

"Okay whenever you're free. I'm on leave today."

"Why? Anything special!" She lifted her eyebrows suspiciously.

"Huh! Oh, it's a meeting with grandpa tonight, some business matters. And my friend is here, from Manchester. So dinner with him." He groaned inside and told her aloud.

"Is it just you?" She was asking about the dinner date. He sighed. Now... it was definitely now...

"No, I was just about to tell you. He called with family..."

"And you must've said that you don't have any family, right!" She stood up from the chair. Placing her hands on her hips she was just looking like a gossip aunty in the neighborhood ready to start a catfight sharpening its nails.

"It's not that, I just received his message last night and he called a few minutes before. Why.... why you have to behave like this!" He too left everything and collecting his courage came to face her. He wanted to end that daily fight in one go.

"Like what?? What did I do? Huh?"

"Like you are always looking for a reason to start a fight..." He told her but she didn't let him complete it.

"So I'm always looking for a reason to fight? So now I'm a burden to you?" He squeezed his eyes shut messaging his forehead. What do I do now? He was feeling clueless. Then he decided to say what he was thinking.

"You know you're behaving like a spoiled girl."

She was surprised at his comment.
After a few minutes of silence she muttered slowly and tried to clear him. She laughed hysterically at the end.
