He never listened to the whispers of my heart, he only spoke,
Once he tested my love, just once, he broke. What wonders he weaved with the tongue of creation,
Toppling the walls of my ego, revealing his dedication. What do the worldlings know of a heart shattered,
But my desire was to be led, that's all that mattered.I knew the darkness was slowly engulfing him,
Yet I lit the path of my heart for him to swim.Muneer, he was cruel, leaving the city with silence in tow,
For him, I'd leave this world, he'd never know.¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
She was wearing a white shalwar suit with a black chadar. Freshness of her face was gone. She looked quite weak.
Uncle took her to the hospital due to her poor health. After check up and doctor's prescription, he went to get medicine from the pharmacy, leaving her in the the hospital. She was sitting in the waiting room on a bench. After a while, someone came and sat next to him. She looked at him in shock. It was the same person. Who came to their house a few weeks ago and then suddenly Hisham was married to Amy.
He didn't say anything to her. At his silence she became curious.
"You must've recognized me , Zainab Khan! This is our third meeting, isn't it! And I think nature is planning us to meet without a reason." He said suddenly.
"Are you hallucinating?? this is our first regular meeting." She chirped at him.
"The first time we met in university was when you and Iman, came with Shaban. There I came to know that Iman is my phupho's(fraternal aunt) daughter." He reminded her.
Iman asserted that day to attend university function, Dadu convinced Shaaban to take them both along with Safi. After much back and forth, he agreed to take them.
There was such a crowd that Amy and Zainab got separated from them. Then he helped them to reach Safi and sha'ban, and soon after he became friends with Sha'ban. When things opened up in friendship, give him the knowledge of his relationship with Iman.
On his request, his grandfather came to take Amy's marriage proposal.
"I am sure that you must have remembered." He smiled devilishly.
"what do you want from me?" She asked in a stern tone, then he smiled wickedly.
" your support to get Amy. . . You will help me marry her."
"But she is married." She replied to him out of surprise that he laughed like that were the words of a child.
"Marriage can be broken my dear Zainab Khan! " she was looking at him with his eyes wide open, who was saying such a big thing so easily.
"This is my number. Take it! The rest of it will be discussed on the phone --- your father is coming. God bless you!"
And she got a card. Only a phone number was written on it and the rest was empty. She slipped the hand with the card under the dupatta.
"Let's go. It's enough time," Uncle said as he reached her. She got up and followed him.

Appiah was looking very well after taking medication regularly. She was sitting in the couch in lounge after many days today reading and flipping through the pages of her favorite magazine.
"How are you doing now?" Amy sat next to her and asked, she put the magazine on the table and started to get up, but Amy stopped her by holding her hand.
"Tell me if I am to blame, if I have done anything wrong that you're behaving odd and treating me like this." She cried asking her. Appiah opened her mouth when she cried and immediately sat next to her holding her hands and wiped the tears from her eyes carefully.
"Don't cry" she comforted her to stop her upon crying like that.
"Why shouldn't I? You have stopped talking to me for so many days? And not even told me, why?" She made a moue.
"I was in a bad mood. I didn't want to talk to anyone --- well, let's do it, it's our rule that if you reconcile with someone's, you have to go shopping. Do you remember this? She smiled at her words.
"Absolutely -- will definitely go. I will take a leave from college." She agreed.
"I am now calling Khanu Bhai that his wife is now slacking in attending her college. She is taking too many offs. He will punish you surely" Safi said in a threatening tone while leaving Dadu's room as he heard her by chance.
"You're always here eavesdropping everyone. What are you, a devil! And he won't even scold me, rather giving a punishment" She asked rolling her eyes.
"May Allah be merciful to us, I'm not a devil, but you can say my senses are very sharp. Whenever I feel something fishy, I reach there at the time. You know when that incident happened at your college, forgetting something? The day will come when I'll be the first one to find you if you're kidnapped by some unfortunate man." He boasted with a proud face.
"Whenever you're needed, you disappear like you never existed." She brought him down from the cloud nine. "Did you've forgotten when we got lost in the university, where were your powers back then?" She asked sarcastically.
"By then I was a young blood, powers were still in dormancy, not stimulated! So I couldn't find you." He replied seriously.
"Oh, stop watching those fantasy tales of China and Korea." She said jerking off her hand.
"Don't say anything about them. Those are my love." He whined at her rudeness.
Appiah smiled at their arguments and asked,
"Okay, stop you two. We're going for shopping Tomorrow, for real. Now no fighting. Let's eat something, I'm hungry." She said leaving her place and headed to the kitchen. Both glared at each other and scoffed at same Time. Sticking her tongue out at him, she ran behind, following Appiah into the kitchen. Her stomach was growling loudly. She has to feed herself.
