"Lilly, what the hell are you doing? You can't be late for school another frikin time" my mother screamed from the kitchen.
"Holly shit mom, it takes time to look presentable!"
"Presentable? Your no where near presentable, your just super tall and ugly."
I looked in the bathroom mirror, the tears filled my eyes and trickled down my cheeks. The places where the tears had ran took off the thousand pounds of makeup I wear to cover all of my imperfections. I walked out of the bathroom, my eyes still red and puffy from crying. As I made my way down the spiral staircase of my enormous house Whinnie was there to greet me at the door. Her tail thumped on my now dog hair covered backpack. I picked up my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. I stepped outside, the cool spring breeze felt amazing. I closed the door behind me as I headed for the bus stop.

It was now lunch. Everyone was stuffing there binders into their lockers, trying to get to the cafeteria before all the tables were gone. I don't have enough friends to get a table, I really only have one. So, I don't hurry the floor had became my friend. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and pulled up the website my uncle had shown me using the schools wifi. I had five messages from him.
"Hey Lilly" the first one said. The other messages read " hi, hello, hey" and "are you still there?"
I leaned back against my locker, the lock jabbing into my back. I didn't want anyone to see. If anyone found out I was talking to a 27 year old the news would travel around pretty quickly. I look around, everyone had gone to the cafeteria. This might be my only chance today to talk to him, since I'm grounded from using my phone at home thanks to Marvin's muddy footprints all over the kitchen.
" Hey" I type. I stare blankly down at the screen waiting hopelessly for a reply. Just as I am about to leave to meet Jessa in the cafeteria a new message popped up.
"Hey girl! What's up" it said. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jessa walk out of the cafeteria, a confused look on her face.
"Lilly..Lil where are you" she called. I decided I better reply to him before Jessa found me. " Oh nothing much, just heading to the cafeteria for lunch. How about you" I typed. Just as I was about to click send Jessa rounded the corner.
"So, you ditched me and made me look like a complete loser sitting by myself for your phone? Well that sure makes sense" Jessa said annoyed. "What are you doing anyway" she said curiously.
"Oh, nothing. Just you know, stuff" I said while slipping my phone back into my pocket. We walked through the maze of halls to the cafeteria in silence. Once we reached the doors of the cafeteria I sneaked a peek at my phone. He had sent me another message.
" Darlin your gorgeous. Yup I knew that your were going the the cafeteria, I just knew it."
An instant smile lit up my face when I read the gorgeous part. He really cares about me! Maybe we were meant to be! Being called that has never happened before. I then decided to read on. I then became concerned once I read the that he knew exactly what is was doing. I blew it off tho, it was probably just one big joke anyway.
