Boy or Girl?

Katy's POV

"John, please hurry up we have to be there in 20 minutes" I sighed while putting on my black Ray bans on.

"I'm coming, I'm coming" John said rushing down the stairs.

"Let's go" he said as he opened the front door for me then closing and locked it after him.

I had the keys to John's black Range Rover and I was just walking to the drivers side until John quickly grabbed me by the waist and spun me around so I was facing him.

He raised his eyebrow at me then grinned while opening his right hand, asking for the keys.

"Ugh fine" I huffed and dropped them in his hand while walking to the passengers side. John didn't like when I drove his car. He said I drive to fast witch isn't true, well sometimes.

"Love you" John said while chuckling.

"Love you too" I rolled my eyes playfully and hopped in the car.

Today's the day we find out the sex of the baby. I'm about 5 months now and my stomach has a good size baby bump, but I'm not big.. yet.

I look down at my stomach and sigh happily. I don't care what gender the baby is, I just care if he or she is healthy. That's all that really matters.

John puts his free hand on my stomach while his other one stayed on the steering while and smiled adorably at me.

"I'm so happy" John said, rubbing my baby bump.

"Me too" I put my hand on top of his and smiled.

"What do you think it will be?" He asked.

"Hmm I don't really care to be honest as long as it's a healthy baby" I said honestly.

"Me too, but what would you want?"

"A boy" I smile over to him. "What do you want?"

He chuckled and looked at me then quickly back to the road.

"A girl" he said.

"You want a daddy's little girl?" I giggled.

"Yeah, but she will probably be a mommy's girl"

"Maybe if we even have a girl" I chuckled.

"Wanna make a bet?" He said.

I laughed. This was going to be fun. "Sure why not."

"What does the winner get?" I asked.

"How about what does the loser do?"

"Fine" I giggled.

"Okay the loser has diaper duty for the first two weeks?" He grinned.

"Deal" John held his hand out and I shook it. He brought my hand to his lips and kissed it then placed it on his lap.

"The winner gets a long kiss" I said.

"You get those everyday" John chuckled and parked the car into the hospital parking lot.

We both got out and John instantly made his way over to me and intertwined our fingers together.

"And?" I asked.

"Okay deal, put it has to be a really good kiss like some foreplay" John said.

"Alright" I agreed.

We walked into the hospital, without any paparazzi, and took a seat in the waiting room.

"I'm gonna go check you in baby" John said sweetly while I nodded at him.

I looked around the waiting room. There weren't that much people in the room, just a couple, an old woman, and a young man with a broken arm.

I sighed and looked at John who was walking back to me while smiling.

He's so perfect. His hair, his body, his face, everything. I'm so lucky to have him in my life.

"The doctor said it would take 5 minutes" he said while running a hand through his hair and sat down next to me.

"Okay baby" I pulled my phone out of my pocket and scrolled through Twitter, Favoriting or retweeting tweets from Katycats. They make me so happy.

"Katheryn?" I looked up from my phone and smiled sweetly at the nurse.

"Come with me" she said as John and I got up and followed her into the doctors office.

"Doctor Sara will be right with you" she says sweetly before closing the door behind her.

"After this do you want to head to Starbucks?" John grinned at me as he moved his chair closer to me.

He knew me so well.

"Of course darling"

"Hello Katy and John, how are you? " Doctor Sara said walking in and smiling warmly at us.

"We are great, and you?" I said.

"Just fine" she chuckled. "Now have you been feeling nauseous or anything like that?"

"Yeah, I've been having morning sickness but that's it" I answered.

"Okay that's normal for every pregnancy." she said getting out the gel.

She gestured me to lay down and lift up my shirt. She applies the cold, wet gel on my stomach making me flench a little, but then I got used to it.

I looked at the black screen that was on my right side and saw a tiny little thing, mine and John's baby. We created that. I smiled and looked at John who took my hand and gave it a light squeeze.

"Your baby is 100% healthy." Sara smiles. "Now are you ready for the gender?"

I nodded my head and bit my lip. John did the same. I can tell he was anxious and so was I.

"You guys are going to have a boy"

"I win" I said smiling like an idiot and looked at John who chuckled and kissed me on the forehead.

"I'm so happy Katy" John said.

"Me too baby" I ran my hand threw his soft hair.

"Wanna hear his heartbeat?"

"Yes please" John and I said in sync making me giggle.

It was like music to my ears. I put a hand over my mouth and gasped a little. Happy tears fell down my cheeks, I couldn't help it. I was so happy.

"That's so incredible" John said amazed.

"That's our baby" I said and John came closer to me and kissed me passionately. This moment was perfect and I wouldn't change for anything. I was ready to start a family with the man I love.
