My Little Sunshine

John's POV

I turned around to wrap my arm around Katy's waist, but instead my arm hit the empty spot on the bed. I opened my eyes immediately not seeing Katy any where. She was probably downstairs.

I pushed the blankets off me and ran my hand through my thick hair. I was still tired, but I might as well get up since I'm already awake. I looked around for my phone, witch was under my pillow?

9:27 AM

I sighed and put on boxers witch I found myself wearing none. I go into the bathroom and turn on the water in the sink. I quickly rinse my face, waking me up more then brushed my teeth.

I throw my phone on the bed and walk down stairs, hearing a faint sound coming from the TV. I walk into the living room still no sight of Katy. I turned off the TV since no one was watching it. Waste of electricity.

"Hey I was watching that" Katy walked in holding a bowl of fresh cut fruit with a fork in her other hand, as she pouted. She was wearing a loose shirt, with no pants and long socks. Her hair was in a messy bun and she had no make up on.

I don't understand how someone can be so perfect without even trying.

"Oh sorry" I said turning it back on and walked towards her.

"Good morning" I smiled and tucked a loose hair behind her ear.

"Good morning to you too" she smiled back and put a forkful of mango in her mouth.

"I'm going to make some tea, do you want some?" I said walking towards the kitchen.

"No thanks babe" She said as she plopped her self on the coach and continued watching whatever she was watching.

I got my favorite tea out, Tazo, and turned on the hit water from the sink. I started singing Daughters as I waited for the water to warm up.

"I'll be half of every man looking out for every girl..."

I got out a mug and poured the steaming hot water into my cup and put the tea bag in.

"I never tire of your voice" Katy said making me jump a little.

"You scared me" I said making giggle as she placed her bowl and fork into the sink.

"I'm sorry" she said, wrapping her arms around my waist and kissing my bare shoulder.

"Don't be" I said and grabbed her hand that was resting on my waist and kissed it.

"You know people are desperate for your new album" Katy giggled as she caressed my left arm and rested her head on my shoulder.

"Same for you" I chuckle and turn around facing her beautiful face.

"I know, it's just hard you know. I'm not done writing most the songs yet and I don't know when I should release it if I can't tour" she sighed.

I gave her a sympathetic smile and grabbed both her hands.

"You'll get through it, if you want I can help you, I'm always here. Plus you will be able to tour just not for a while" I said trying to cheer her up, wrapping my arms around her waist

"Your right thank you" She smiled up at me and put her hands on my shoulders.

I pecked her lips quickly then looked down at her. Her big blue eyes looking up at my light brown ones.

"What do you want to do today?" I asked and led her to the living room sitting down on our very large couch. I don't know we picked a couch so big, but it is really comfortable.

"Honestly nothing" Katy said while sitting down and laying her legs on mine. I slowly massaged them as she tilt her head back closing her eyes.

"That's fine by me, we can watch Netflix and eat junk food all day?" I grinned.

"Yes please" Katy giggled as she sat up. "Ow!" She winced and placed her hand on her lower back.

"Are you okay?" I asked worried and instantly went over to her.

"Yeah I'm fine, I just get lower back pain once in a while. Perks of being pregnant" Katy sighed.

"Do you want to go the bedroom were it's more comfortable?" I suggested.

"Yeah" she said and tried getting off the couch but her belly was in the way.

"Here let me help you" I chuckled as I grabbed her hands and pulling her up.

"What's so funny huh? You try carrying this baby for 8 and a half months" she rolled her eyes playfully as she started walking up the stairs.

"It's just you look so cute" I teased. She stopped half way and gave me the finger making me laugh. I walked in the kitchen looking in the drawers for a heating pad.

I put it in the microwave for 2 minutes then went to the counter to get the chips, cookies, and candy. I opened the freezer and picked out a carton of Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

I took the heating of out of the microwave and stuffed everything in my arms and walked to our bedroom. I was proud, I didn't drop anything.

Katy was laying on the bed scrolling through Netflix while her hand was resting on her large belly.

"Here baby" I said as I handed Katy the heating pad and placing all the food in the middle of the bed.

"Aww your the best" She smiled and kissed my cheek.

"I know" I smirked and cuddled close to her, grabbing the ice cream.

"What do you want to watch honey" Katy asked.

"Umm something scary" I said putting a spoonful of ice cream in my mouth. I hadn't had Ben & Jerry's in a long time, this is so good.

"No I'll get scared" she nodded her head and kept scrolling.

"Wuss" I said and put another spoonful in my mouth before Katy playfully hit my chest.

"Here we are The Notebook" Katy said, clicking on the movie.

I rolled my eyes, Katy has made me watch this with her so many times, I know every word they say.

"How many times have we watched this?" I teased.

"Oh shut up it's a good movie" She giggled.

"Fine we can watch your chick flick, but after this I get to pick what we watch" I chuckled making Katy laugh.

"Deal" She said as she took the ice cream away from me and took a spoonful.

"Your something else you know that" I laughed while grabbing a chocolate bar.

"I know" she smirked and continued eating the ice cream. Man I love her so much.

This chapter sucks lol, but it will get better.
