Family time

Katy's POV

It's been a week since John proposed and we have been in LA . Today John and I are throwing a little party for mine and Johns family. Just so we could catch up on a few things

Every one in our family already knows about the proposal. John told his mom over the phone and so did I. My parents are old fashioned so they would have liked it better if I told them in person, but that's what the party is for.

The only thing I'm worried about is that I go to Mexico next week for about 4 days, so that means me and John are going to be apart again. I hate being apart of him and so does he. I was having this crazy Idea,but I don't think John would be all into it.

I put that thought aside and looked in the mirror one last time. I was wearing a cute flower dress and some light pink high heels with my hair straighten. I put on light make up since it was just mine and Johns family coming over.

I walked down stairs seeing John in the living room moving some stuff around the coffee table.

I smiled and walked up to him, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Your so cute" I say and pecked his lips.

"Is that so Mrs. soon to be Mayer?" He said while wrapping my arms around my waist, making my heart flutter when he said that.

"Yes, Mr. Mayer" I said and smiled again just looked at those beautiful brown eyes. They looked back into my blue ones filled with love and warmth. I could stay in this position all day with him, just looking at each others and him holding me.

"I love you" he said and kissed me passionately.

I kissed him back while he pulled my hips closer to his body. His lips left mine and started kissing/sucking on my neck. I let out a small moan and John pushed me down on the coach and got on top of me. He kissed me harder, his tongue in my mouth as it expired every corner of it.

Knowing my parents would walk threw my door any minute I broke the kiss and looked up at him. John looked down at me with a confused face in why I had stop. I breathed heavily and pointed to the door.

"My parents are gonna be hear any minute" I said.

"Right" John sighed and got off of me and helped me off the coach.

"I'm sorry" I said a little disapointed.

"For what? There's always tonight" John smirked and slapped my butt and walked into the kitchen.

I sighed and fixed the couch when I heard a knock on the door. I ran excitedly to open it and found my mom, dad, and grandma in front of my house.

"Mom, Dad!" I say and give them a big hug. I haven't seen them in a while so it was nice to finally see them.

"Katy bird awe we missed you" My dad said while walking in my house.

"I'm not dead yet" My grandma said.

"I save the best for last" I giggled and hugged her, giving her a kiss on the cheek and helping her inside.

"Where's John?" My mom asked.

"Oh umm he's in the kit-"

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Hudson" John said while walking in greeting them politely.

"And hello Ann" He said giving her a hug.

"How are you?" John asked them while walking to me wrapping one hand around my waist.
