One Week Later
Selena's POV

I was happy for Sevyn that her boyfriend was actually still alive but I really didn't trust him around her anymore. He faked his death, disappeared from her life and came back like it was nothing. Today I was invited to lunch with Icelynn and she claim that she had a few things to tell me. I hope it wasn't bad, but knowing her that's the only thing I could think of.

I thought our bond was getting closer, but she hardly ever contacted me or wanted to hang out ever since her and Matt supposedly broke up. I'm guessing she wants to meet with me to tell me that they're back together, but I really didn't care what they had going on.

I arrived before way before she did, Icelynn didn't show up until about thirty minutes later. She gave me a side hug and took a seat.
"I'm so sorry I'm late, I wasn't feeling well this morning." She said looking over the menu.

Icelynn did look a little flushed and bloated, was her and Matt having a baby? Is that why she called me here?

"So... what's been up?" I asked waiting for her to just spill it.

The look on her face seemed worried but I assured her that it was a judgement free zone with me but I can tell she was contemplating on telling me.

"What's wrong Ice? I thought we were getting to know each other and possibly become friends." I took a sip of my lemonade, still waiting on her to speak.

She sighed before talking, "Okay, so I know you and Kass are doing really good right? I'm just making sure."

I furrowed my eyebrows at her question, "We're always good. Why? Is it something about Lauryn?"

"No, no it's actually me this time and before I say anything I just want to apologize for even crossing that boundary. I was just in a vulnerable position and—"

"What happened Icelynn?" I was trying so hard not to get agitated with her. She was clearly about to confess to me that she did something with my man.

"Kass and I kissed and I gave him head. I'm sorry Lena—"

"Are you sure that's all? Because you look pregnant." I eyed her up and down and she looked embarrassed.

"The baby is Matthew's. I just found out not too long ago and I promise you everything with Kass it's my fault I initiated it." She bit her lip nervously.

I laughed to myself and shook my head, "No wonder why you and Lauryn are best friends. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree does it? We were supposed to be friends Ice, but to think you would actually take this serious and be genuine about this was my mistake."

"It's not even like that Selena. He tried to push me off and I just kept throwing myself onto him. I probably ruined my friendship with him and you but this is why I'm here to say sorry." She tried to grab my hand but I snatched it away.

"You just ruined my appetite and I think I should leave. It's really upsetting me and the baby. You have a good rest of your life and oh...congrats on the little one." I faked a smile, grabbed my purse and left out the restaurant. I sped over to Kass house before I went to pick my daughter up from my mom's, he was definitely going to hear my mouth one way or another.
