Just a quick oneshot ~ I would have to say it has no beginning nor end, it just happened.

No beta reading, all mistakes are my own.

There was nothing special about the place Alec, and Jace entered but the girls just wanted to have fun and this was the last bar opened and it was no wonder they were honestly surprised about a bar being opened at four in the morning.

"This looks nice." Clary whispered to Isabella who was casually holding her hand, but she was not paying any attention to her because she noticed a man standing behind the bar with a lazy smile on his face. "I think that the guy is even better." She winked at Clary and let go of her hand, trying to get the guys attention.

"Anything you'd like to drink, ladies?" He hummed with a deep voice and Isabella was speechless. "Is there anything you'd recommend?" She tried to seduce him, but the barmans eyes were attached to someone else. Isabella was ready to scoff at the bitch who caught that guy's attention, but to her surprise it was her brother who was quietly chatting with Jace not realizing that his handsome face drew someone else's attention.

"That's my brother Alec." Isabella hummed and the barman smiled. "If you are interested then I have to say he is straight." She then added and slowly sipped the drink he handed her.
"That's what you said, not me." The barman smiled and started to prepare another drink. "Hey handsome." The barman whistled towards the boy.
"You calling me?" Jace was the one looking at the barman with disgust on his face.
"No, not you." He mumbled and waved his hand off, "the other one is handsome, you are just plain." With a shrug he slided the drink he just made towards Alec's way and winked at him. "I think that you got the wrong guy." Alec hummed and didn't touch the drink at all. He wasn't shy, he had just trust issues.
"Come on, I am not here to poison you." The barman chuckled and handed another glass of a drink towards Alec's friend. He just frowned and took it.
"Hey, behave Jace. Not everyone is charmed by you, give Alec a chance too." Clary joked and finished the drink, then she looked towards the barman and he pushed the same looking drink towards. "That's on the house." He hummed and winked at her.

A smacking sound resonated in the bar. It was Alec who gave a hateful look towards Clary. "You could have stayed quiet, I am not interested in meeting someone." He hummed and Isabella started to laugh. "I was the one that told him your name." She winked at the barman and he gave her a bright smile back. "I still don't know why you don't like Clary." Jace added more oil to the already burning fire, as he stood up and walked closer to her. "She was the best thing that could come into my life, so I just want you to accept her." Jace probably added more salt to the wound opened in Alec's heart.
"I am actually trying, Jace." Alec mumbled and sipped the drink in front of him. "But you seem to care about her only. Where was that time we went to the race circuit and had fun just the two of us? I actually miss our game nights when we were up the whole damn night and just laughed and played." The atmosphere was so thick that you could cut it with a damn knife. Alec looked so upset and Jace too.
"We can plan it, I don't mind." Jace mumbled and squeezed Clary's thigh. "It might be a good idea to do it soon if you want."

Alec started to laugh, the pain in the laughter was clear only to the barman. "Come on, I planned it for the past two years alone and you always agreed but then it was about Clary all over again. Is it too much to spend one night with someone who considers you a brother? Is it that big of a deal to say one night no to her?"
"You are just making it bigger than it really is, Alec.." Jace downplayed it in his eyes too much, Alec was barely holding on, heh could feel how tears appeared in the corner of his eyes, his lip was trembling, hand squeezed in tight fists, closing his eyes shut.
"I have enough of this, Jace. I will stop trying now. It's just you all alone. I dont care anymore."
