Tricked, but still impressive

Sofía's POV:

As soon as breakfast was over, Professor Clarissa Dovey took me to her office, without giving me a second to say goodbye to Lady Lesso. I took a quick look at her, before Dovey dragged me outside and she had winked at me with that usual smirk of hers on her lips, trying to encourage me. I absolutely needed that encouragement.

I was completely sure that my personality was grey. I had always known that. But where I came from I was used to acting good, because evil got you detention, bad looks or even harder punishments from my parents. I had always restrained my evilness to survive, and I had already gotten used to it. It wasn't going to be easy to act evil in front of Dovey alone, because she seemed like such a nice person I didn't want to hurt. But then again, I had to make Lesso proud, so I would give my all.

"Here we are." she said after entering her office. She walked towards the desk and sat in front of me. "Take a seat, don't be shy."

I was tempted to, the heels were killing me, but it was only going to make it harder for me to keep my cool up, so without saying anything, I just stayed up, and rested my arms on the chair back.

"I see. You are not going to make this easy for me, are you?" she asked.

"I don't even know why you are fighting so hard to keep me out of Lady Lesso's grasp. Why didn't you just let me teach and study at the School for Evil?"

"Because, dear Sofía, I'm sure of what I see in you. And every single bit of your story sounds weird. And what was that with the screams yesterday?"

"You heard?"

"I think everyone ten miles away from here heard, dear. Those weren't precisely... subtle."

"It was just a nightmare, Professor Dovey, that was it."

"You can call me Clarissa, dear, there is no need for such formality, you are technically a member of my staff too. What was the nightmare even about?"

"Why do you care?"

"Because, Sofía, I care about the people that work for me. And I care about you. I don't think Lady Lesso is a good influence on you."

"Technically, she is not. She would be an evil influence on me, and I think that's the point." she rolled her eyes, then she stood up and started walking, surrounding the table.

"I do see your point but... Oh!" she screamed, as she fell to the ground. I quickly walked towards her to lend her a hand, her face showed that she was in pain. "I think I twisted my ankle." she whispered, trying not to let the tears of pain roll down her cheeks.

"Here, let me help you." I said, as I grabbed her and helped her back on her seat. "How much does it hurt? Do you need some ice?" I asked.

"It's fine, I think it's not that bad as it originally felt. Thank you." she responded. "Now, I don't want to waste more time arguing, yesterday you said you had ideas for your lessons? I'd like to hear them."

"Sure. Well, first, I think I'll start teaching them an evil laugh. Then comes the evil look, everything about the facial expression must be perfect and an evil pose is crucial as well. Later they'll have to get their gowns dirty at the dirty pit I saw at the School for Evil. For a normal person I think that would take them like a month, but if your students are anything like Lady Lesso described, we are in for half a year, surely. Oh, and let's not forget sarcasm, please, that thing is like a drug for Villains. By that time, I'm sure we can pull all the acting together and challenge them to act out some evil monologues. And the last two things I had in mind that would complete the year are understanding of Evil reasoning and finally, so that they can enjoy themselves a little, a play. They can perform together with students from the School of Evil, that will be performing as the heroes. All an act, of course. As you probably realize, I have checked that none of these lessons interfieres with one of the rules of Good. No attacks, no punishments, no hurting, not taking anything away from anyone and, most importantly, no hating. So I think it's appropriate for the School." I finished. She looked at me, surprised.
