Lady Lesso's POV:
The soft rays of morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. I stirred awake, the sensation of Sofía nestled against me bringing a soft smile I rarely allowed to my lips.
Turning my head slightly, I gazed down at her, admiring the serene expression on her face as she rested on top of me. Her features were softened by the morning light, her hair cascading in gentle waves around her shoulders. She looked utterly peaceful, her breathing steady and calm, though I could tell she was already awake before I even woke. She always was.
Sofía stirred slightly, a small sigh escaping her lips as she noticed I was awake too.
"Good morning," I murmured.
Sofía blinked her eyes open, her gaze meeting mine with sleepiness and affection. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she stretched.
"Good morning," she replied in a voice husky with sleep. She looked at the clock and her eyes widened. "Fuck, we are going to be late if we don't get up right now."
I chuckled softly as she swung her legs over the edge of the bed, attempting to stand up, but her movements were tentative, her legs clearly protesting.
I watched her with amusement, propping myself up on one elbow as I observed her struggle. "Careful there," I teased, a smirk playing on my lips. "Wouldn't want you to hurt yourself after all that action last night."
Sofía shot me another mock glare, her lips curling into a wry smile despite the discomfort she was clearly feeling. "Oh, shut up, Lesso."
"Need a hand?" I offered, extending my arm towards her.
Sofía hesitated for a moment, then nodded gratefully, reaching out to grasp my hand. With a bit of effort, I tried to help her to her feet. Sofía attempted to push herself up as well, her determination evident, but as she placed weight on her legs, a wince flickered across her face. Her legs trembled slightly, betraying the soreness from our passionate night. I tried to steady her as she tested her balance. She winced slightly, still feeling the effects of our night in the Doom Room.
"Ow," she muttered under her breath, her hand moving to her tight where she had felt the soreness. "Maybe I shouldn't have tried to jump out of bed so quickly."
I couldn't help but tease her. "Having trouble standing, are we? But you were so eager to start the day. Can't let a little soreness slow you down, can we?"
Sofía shot me a sheepish look, her cheeks flushing from embarrassment and frustration. "Shut up. It's your fault, you know."
"My fault? I seem to recall you were a willing participant," I chuckled softly, leaning over to press a kiss to her cheek. "Come on, let me help you take those first steps," I offered, extending a hand to assist her. "Wouldn't want you to hurt yourself after all that exertion last night."
Sofía took a deep breath, trying to gather her strength, but her legs wobbled beneath her weight. She quickly sat back down on the edge of the bed.
"Okay, maybe I'm a bit more sore than I thought," she admitted reluctantly.
"You did say you wanted it," I reminded her. "I guess this is the aftermath."
She rolled her eyes, but couldn't hide a smile. "Yeah, yeah," she replied with a sigh, leaning against me.
She accepted my help gratefully, allowing me to steady her as she slowly stood up again.
"There you go," I murmured as I supported her. "Take it slow."
Sofía nodded. "Thanks."
"Can I ask you something?" I ventured as we changed.
Sofía nodded with a slight furrow in her brow. "Of course."
