Lady Lesso's POV:

I could hear her training downstairs. I had put an amplifying charm on the room so I could hear what happened from my office. I could hear flames roaring, weapons colliding, magic igniting and even the Beast growling, mostly because it seemed she was throwing things at him. I had commanded him not to attack her under any circumstances, but he was probably getting angry at this. That's why I decided to go down there, for if anything were to happen. I stood up from my chair, walked all the way down, and turned left as I got to the last floor.

I couldn't hear a thing from what was happening inside. That was weird. Normally you could hear even in my classroom what was going on and it was on the upper floor. I opened the door just a little bit and the sound finally found it's way up to me. I peaked inside to find a surprising situation.

"If you don't stop this right now I promise you, I don't care what Lady Lesso told me to do, I'm going to rip you apart, even if you are part of the staff." the Beast growled.

"I'd like to see you try." she challenged back. She made one of my swords float and threw it against the Beast once more. She barely missed, just because he quickly turned to the side to avoid being hit.

The giant half wolf stood in his two paws, showing his human torso. He growled as he started running towards her, faster than any other normal creature. I was starting to get nervous, because she was just standing there, but the moment he jumped, the moment I was just about to do something, she raised her hand and he got paralyzed mid air, and he just fell to the ground like a rock. She slowly walked next to his body, surrounding it, seeming to enjoy the moment, before starting to drag it out of the way.

"I warned you, you shouldn't mess with me. I can be cute and everything, but if you actually mess with me, or the ones I care about... well, you can see for yourself it doesn't end well for you. Now, I promise I'm going to free you from the spell once I'm done around here. But for now, you are just going to sit there still, and think about what you did." she said, before preparing to strike again some magic, this time, against the walls.

I closed the door behind me and I realized my eyes were opened wide and a smirk had risen in my lips. She had so much potential. Not one student had ever been able to put the Beast in his place. She was obviously a few years older than my normal students, but in the end, she didn't remember ever having magic. And I knew that was true because I had read her mind that day in the forest. I didn't usually use that power on people if not necessary, it took the fun out of most interactions, but I had to make sure she wasn't lying.

I decided to go back to my office to finish some paperwork that needed to be handed in to the Headmaster before heading to dinner. It wasn't long before I was done and decided to join the rest, arriving just a few minutes later than everyone. Everyone, except Sofía. She wasn't there yet. I sat at my place, the rest of the teachers had already started eating and I took a bit out of my own plate.

"Do you have her working 'til she passes out on her second day?" Dovey snapped. I rolled my eyes at her, she clearly wasn't yet over the fact that I rejected her the night before.

"Oh, why, Clarissa, do you always assume the worst from me?" I replied with a sarcastic smile on my face.

"Now you're on first name terms with me again?" she asked. Luckily, the other teachers were minding their own business, but I wasn't going to reply to that right there. Luckily, I was saved by the bell.

The door opened wide one last time to let Sofía into the dining room. She was still wearing that grey dress of hers, but it was ripped so that her left leg was shown up her tight and allowed her more space to move. She was all sweaty and dirty from training, her hair made a mess, but somehow it made her look hot, damn it. As she got closer to the table, she quickly performed a cleaning charm and sat down in between Clarissa and me. She was still breathing heavily from all of the training, but was composed.
