Time seemed to stand still for Peter. It was like he was cemented to the ground as the world stilled.
He knew Skip was saying something to Ms. Bea as she was gathering her things to go to her shift at the hospital.
Peter vaguely registered when she walked past and squeezed his shoulder telling him he should go into the conversation with an open mind and kissing his cheek.
Once she was finally out of the house Skip stared at him with a piercing gaze that made Peter's skin crawl.
"Come sit down Einstein" Skip said as he pulled the chair opposite of him out from the table and gestured for him to sit.
Peter hesitantly sat and lifted his head to face him, immediately putting his face down when the others eyes met his own.
"What are you doing here Sk- Steven." Peter asked almost stumbling onto the nickname he always used to use for the man, voice shaking.
Stopping himself to maybe take back a modicum of power he had already given the older man.
"Well it isn't for you if that's what your thinking Peter, also you know better than anyone else I prefer to be called Skip. Why don't we stick with that huh? So as I was saying, I didn't know you were here, guess time finally caught up with that aunt and uncle of yours."
Peter shuddered at what the other was saying thinking of the night uncle Ben had died and the following when aunt May had gone as well.
"You never told anyone Einstein, guess you knew that was for the better." Skip had a smirk on his face.
Peter inhaled sharply, the memories flooding to the front of his mind. After all this time of him repressing what had happened to him, it was like he was back there with one word, or maybe it was simply hearing the voice that was saying it.
"Now, we're not going to go telling the lovely Ms. Bea now are we?" Skip said looking at him with fervor.
"Isn't she over a decade older than you..." Peter started.
Skip immediately interjected, "That doesn't matter now does it. You're going to keep your mouth shut, isn't that right Einstein?" Skip looked at him waiting for an answer, already knowing what the answer would be.
Peter sat, frozen, unsure of what to say or do.
The part of him that was Spiderman would hop across the table and knock him out, calling the police and telling them everything, but that's why he would never do it.
Because no one could ever know what Skip did.
Then peter had a horrible thought.
"Are you dating Ms. Bea to have access to the kids..." Peter said quietly.
"Well Peter, not exactly. I made a mistake with you, one I wont do with them, not unless you don't give me what I want." Skip stood up and walked behind Peter and put his hand in his Peter's hair.
"You're hair is still as messy as ever, but I suppose that's what gives the appeal." Peter remained as still as possible. Body starting to tremble under the hands of the older man.
Skip slowly reached his hands down to his shoulders and started kneading.
"You've always been beautiful Einstein, now tell me, you don't have anymore little girlfriends right? Not after that Stacey girl died?"
Peter was barely listening, just trying to breath.
"Answer me Peter" Skip said as he slowly squeezed his shoulder harshly.
