Peter was flown with Tony back to the tower. Natasha had contacted Shield to take the Goblin, Harry, into custody and dismantle the haphazardly made bombs from around the bridge as they had already done so for around the tower.

Peter had always felt like he was flying when he swung through the city, as though in those moments, feeling the wind and soaring, that he was finally free.

But flying with Tony in that moment felt anything but. He felt trapped, his lungs tightened and his head became light, yet pounded at the same time.

It felt suffocating.

Peter knew what was coming for him. He knew that they would tell Shield who he was and there was a decent chance they would actually let Shield take him away.

Afterall, they didn't really agree with his style of doing anything anyways. Not before when they tried to hunt him and not now, even though they have worked together.

But that wasn't what Peter was most afraid of surprisingly. He could take whatever punishment was coming his way for his vigilantism as Spider-Man.

It was how they were going to look at him as Peter Parker now that terrified him. He never wanted things to go like this.

Although he was now 19, he was legally no longer a child, he still feared whatever may come his was as Peter Parker.

They knew him as Spider-Man, this mysterious hero vigilante running around, managing to escape them. Being quick witted and strong.

They knew him as Peter Parker, being shy, smart, having had a rough life all culminating in him being this strong willed man who had gotten himself everywhere on his own merits.

But they weren't his own merits. He had been essentially scamming the Bugle by taking pictures of himself. Although that could be classified as more masochistic than anything.

As Peter was stuck in his own head he realized they were trending downwards towards a balcony. He tensed as they landed and Tony put him down to the ground, feeling the concrete beneath him made him a touch calmer in the situation.

"Tony-" Peter started but was immediately cut off.

"Not until everyone gets here." Tony said.

He couldn't even look at Peter. He just stepped out of the suit and walked off into the building.

Peter was tempted to just swing away, to grab as many things of his as he could and take off to the far corners of the world. Somewhere hopefully they never found him and he would never have to have the inevitable conversation to come.

But deciding against this actions, knowing this was indeed inevitable, he strode inside and sat on the edge of the couch.

His leg bounced hard, his palms became sweaty and the hairs on his airs stood. Everything became very loud very quickly, every touch felt too much, like he could feel every individual fiber in the cloth.

Peter could hear the heartbeats of everyone as they slowly started to return to the tower. They gathered in a different room, leaving Peter in his own head to think the worse of what was to come.

When they finally walked into the main room it was almost as if they didn't know what to say. It was ironic to Peter, that the Avengers, who had just defended him, gone to the bridge to help him, were now the ones that stood before him yet again to pass their judgement.

"When." Tony asked.

The others nodded in agreement of the question. But Peter was slightly confused, especially with what they were actually asking.
