"Sorry."
Peter shot out a line of web, throwing himself forward to follow the path in which the Goblin had taken. Looking back he could see the faces of the Avengers, confusion and recognition at the same time.
He always knew that one day he would tell them, or they would find out. He hadn't planned it being so soon. Although I guess you could never plan for any contingencies for your ex best friend outing your secret identity to force his plan of revenge.
Peter started swinging at record speed, in order to follow the goblin. He saw the Goblin take a hard right and he followed, but as he rounded the corner he sensed it before he saw it.
A bomb making its way right towards him. He caught it with ease, throwing it straight up into the air so it didn't hit any bystanders as they watched the two chase throughout the city.
"You always thought you were better than me!" Harry yelled as he rounded another corner.
"Harry stop this! You need help!" He yelled after the man.
The Goblin cackled and turned, going at him full speed. Peter barely managed to move out of the way, his jacket getting singed as Harry flew by failing in grabbing him.
"Help! What a joke! This 'help' you think I need? I've tried, it didn't stick!" Harry flew at him again.
Peter twisted his body and thrusted himself upwards, sending himself straight into the air and angling himself to turn and land on the nearest building rooftop.
"That's cause you never gave it a fair chance! You can at least admit that much!" Peter yelled back.
Harry flew up and over Peter, dropping smoke bombs clouding Peter's vision. But Peter never needed his eye sight in battle, not really.
He felt his sense blare to his left and he reached out and managed to barely grasp the edge of the glider. Throwing Harry off and tumbling into the roof, clearing some of the smoke in his path.
Peter jumped forward onto the other man, holding him down. Harry threw a solid punch and made contact with his jaw, sending Peter back a few feet.
Harry jumped forward himself, throwing another quick punch connecting to Peters face. The next punch thrown was dodged by Peter and he threw oner himself, sending Harry stumbling back holding his face.
With the moments grace Harry jumped aboard his glider again and took off. Peter followed, trying to weave his way through the buildings and then he realized.
He realized where Harry was leading him.
The bridge.
"Do you see now Peter!" Harry cackled as he flew towards the bridge, stopping when he was above the very top.
Where he dropped Gwen from.
Peter swung from his web, from one beam of the bridge to another until he was stood atop the very same spot in which his world had crumbled.
He remembered every second of that day.
Every feeling.
"You know you're going to get an A on that test it's only science, why are you studying so hard." Gwen laughed at Peter, sitting on her bed with the science textbook open in front of him.
"I've barely paid any attention this week at all! I need to get a good grade on this test." Peter responded.
"Are you sure its not just to even out you missing that assignment last week?" Gwen smirked at him.
