Michael pov
I stood there nervously in the corner at the party for the show Rags to Riches thinking why did I listened to Janet's advice and decided to attend. Not only that I decided to confess my feelings to Tisha tonight.
I mean the worst she can say no right? I stole a quick glances at Tisha who is certainly chatting with some of her costars. Right I'm feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. As music filled the room, I see Tisha walking my way.
"Ok, Michael stay calm", I said to myself.
My heart raced with the desire to confess my feelings to Tisha. Finally, gathering my courage, I approached her.
"Hey Mike, I didn't know you were going to be here!", she said with excitement.
"Well, I heard you was back so I had to come and I also missed my best friend", I said.
"I missed you too", Tisha said as she leaned for a hug.
I hugged her back.
"I hope the show does really good".
"Thanks I appreciate that. I really hope so too you know shows now days barely make past the pilot episode, but I guess we got lucky".
There was a moment of silence between the two
"Hey Tisha, I've been wanting to tell you something", I began, my voice slightly shaky.
Tisha turned to me, her eyes curious.
"What is it, Michael?", she asked softly.
But just as I opened my mouth to speak, I hesitated, the words caught in my throat.
"I...I just wanted to say that I'm really glad you're back", I stumbled, with my cheeks flushing.
Tisha smiled warmly, placing a hand on my arm.
"Thank you, Michael. It means a lot to me," she replied her eyes reflecting understanding.
And in that moment, even without the confession, the unspoken bond between us spoke volumes.
My heart pounded as I struggled to find the right words. Tisha's gentle smile gave me courage.
"I'm sorry, Tisha. I wanted to tell you something important, but I'm not sure how to say it", I confessed, my voice filled with sincerity.
Tisha's eyes softened, understanding evident in her gaze.
"It's ok, Michael. You don't have to rush. Whenever you're ready, I'll be here", she reassured me, her words comforting.
With a grateful smile, I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. As the night went on, our friendship deepened, and I knew that when the time is right, I would find the courage to share my feelings with Tisha, knowing she would be there to listen.
Tisha and I continued to enjoy the party, chatting and laughing together. As the evening progressed, we found ourselves engrossed in conversations about our shared memories and dreams for the future.
Tisha and I found a quiet corner at the party, away from the bustling crowd. Looking into each other's eyes, I began to speak.
"You know, Tisha, I've always admired your passion for music. Have you thought about what you want to do next in your career?".
Tisha smiled, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Actually, Michael, I've been considering starting my own music production company one day. I want to create a space where artists can freely express themselves and collaborate on meaningful projects", she shared, her voice filled determination.
I nodded, impressed by ambition.
"That sounds amazing, Tisha. I can see you make a real a difference in the industry with your vision", I replied, a sense of pride evident in my tone.
As we discussed our aspirations and plans for the future, a sense of mutual support and understanding grew between us, solidifying our bond even further.
The music and laughter filled the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Despite the unspoken words between us, I felt a sense of contentment being by Tisha's side, knowing that our bond was stronger than any confession could express.
