Michael pov
I sat in the living room, the sound of the clock ticking away the seconds. My mind was elsewhere, lost in the melodies I was creating for my next album. Suddenly, I heard the soft, familiar voice of my mother calling my name.
"Michael, can we talk for a moment?" she asked, her tone gentle but firm.
I looked up and saw her standing in the doorway, her eyes filled with a mix of concern and determination. I knew this conversation was coming, but I wasn't for it.
"Sure, Mom. What's on your mind?" I replied, trying to sound casual.
She took a seat next to me, her hands clasped together. "Michael, I know how much your solo career means to you, and I couldn't be prouder of all you've achieved. But your brothers... they need you. They need this tour."
I sighed, leaning back on the couch. "Mom, I love my brothers, you know that. But I've moved on from the group. I have my own path now."
Mother reached out and placed her hand on mine. "I understand that, Michael. But this isn't just about the music. It's about family. Your brothers are struggling, and they need the income from this tour. And let's not forget your fans. They've been waiting for this reunion."
I looked into her eyes, seeing the sincerity and love there. It was hard to argue with her when she spoke from the heart. "I don't know, Mom. I just don't feel the same way about performing with the group anymore."
She squeezed my hand gently. "Sometimes, we have to do things for the people we love, even if it's not what we want. Your brothers look up to you, and your fans adore you. This tour could mean so much to so many people."
I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of her words. She was right. My brothers needed me, and so did our fans. "Alright, Mom. I'll do it. But I'm doing it for them, not for myself."
A smile spread across her face, and she pulled me into a hug. "Thank you, Michael. I know it's not easy, but it means the world to all of us."
The next day, we gathered in the studio with my brothers. There was a sense of excitement and anticipation in the air. We decided to surprise everyone with a new song and announce the tour. As we started rehearsing, I could see the joy on my brothers' faces. It reminded me of the old days, the bond we shared through music.
