Michael pov

I been planning this for weeks, and the day had finally come. Tisha had been talking about her father, Clifton, for as long as I could remember. She missed him terribly, and I knew that reuniting them would mean the world to her. Clifton and I had been in contact secretly, arranging every detail meticulously. Now, it was time to put our plan into action.

Bill and I picked up Clifton from the airport early in the morning. He looked nervous but excited, a mixture of emotions that mirrored my own. As we drove to Tisha's house, Clifton shared stories about Tisha's childhood, his voice filled with pride and love. It was clear how much he cared for her, and I knew this reunion would be something special.

When we arrived, I asked Clifton to wait outside while I went in to get Tisha. She was in the living room, engrossed in a book. "Hey, Tisha," I said casually, trying to keep my excitement in check. "I have surprise for you."

She looked up, curious. "A surprise? What is it?"

I smiled, taking her hand and leading her to the front door. "You'll see."

As we stepped outside, Clifton emerged from behind the bushes, his eyes filled with tears. Tisha froze, her eyes widening in disbelief. "Dad?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

Clifton nodded, his own voice breaking. "Yes, apple-head. It's me."

Tisha ran to him, throwing her arms around his neck. They held each other tightly, both crying tears of joy. I stood back, watching the reunion unfold with a lump in my throat. This was what I had hoped for - a moment of pure happiness for Tisha.

After a few minutes, they pulled apart, still holding hands. Clifton looked at me, his eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you, Michael. I can't tell you how much this means to me."

I nodded, smiling. "It was my pleasure. Tisha deserves to be happy."

We spent the rest of the day together, catching up and sharing stories. Tisha and Clifton laughed and cried, their bond growing stronger with each passing minute. It was a day filled with love and joy, a day that none of us would ever forget.

As the sun began to set, Tisha turned to me, her eyes filled with emotion. "Thank you, Michael. This is the best surprise I could have ever asked for."

I smiled, feeling a warmth in my heart. "I'm just glad I could help."

And with that, we continued to enjoy the evening, knowing that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in Tisha's life - a chapter filled with love, family, and happiness.

As the evening progressed, we decided to have dinner together. Tisha suggested we go to her favorite restaurant, a cozy little downtown that served the best comfort food. Clifton agreed enthusiastically, and soon we were all seated around a table, the warm ambiance of the restaurant adding to the sense of togetherness.

Over plates of delicious food, the conversation flowed effortlessly. Clifton shared more stories from his time away, and Tisha filled him in on everything he had missed. I could see the joy in her eyes as she spoke, her hand never leaving her father's.

After dinner, we took a leisurely walk through the nearby park. The night air was cool and refreshing, and the park was beautifully lit with fairy lights. Tisha and Clifton walked ahead, deep in conversation. I hung back a bit, giving them some space to reconnect.

At one point, Tisha stopped and turned to me. "Michael, come join us," she called, her smile bright in the soft glow of the lights.

I walked over, and we continued our stroll together. Clifton placed a hand on my shoulder. "You know, Michael, you're like family to us now. I can't thank you enough for bringing us back together."

I felt a surge of gratitude and happiness. "It was the least I could do. Seeing you both happy is all the thanks I need."

We found a bench and sat down, enjoying the peacefulness of the park. Tisha leaned her head on Clifton's shoulder, a contented sigh escaping her lips. "This feels like a dream," she murmured. "I never thought I'd have my dad back."

Clifton kissed the top of her head. "I'm here now, and I'm not going anywhere."

As the night grew later, we decided it was time to head back. We dropped Clifton off at his hotel, promising to meet up again the next day. Tisha hugged him tightly, reluctant to go. "Goodnight, dad", she said softly.

"Goodnight, sweetheart. I'll see you tomorrow," Clifton replied, his voice filled with warmth.

On the drive home, Tisha was quiet, lost in her thoughts. When we arrived at her house, she turned to me, her eyes shining with gratitude. "Michael, today was perfect. Thank you for making it happen."

I smiled, feeling a deep sense of fulfillment. "I'm glad it was everything you hoped for."

As I walked her to the door, I knew that this was just the beginning of a new, happier chapter in Tisha's life. And I felt honored to have played a part in it.
