Tisha pov
I've been noticing Michael has been feeling down lately. His mother has told me that he was dealing with acne problems. And not only that he refuses to come out of his room.
Right now I'm headed to the Jackson residence. I heard that my mother going to see Katherine, so I decided to go with her. Maybe I can try to talk some sense into Michael even though we haven't been talking to each lately since I busy with rags to riches and he's busy with making a new album with his brothers.
At the Jackson's residence
"Tisha and Mona it's nice to see you guys again", Katherine said with a smile on her smile.
"Oh, Tisha, Michael is in his room if you want to see him", Katherine said.
"Ok, thank you Mrs. Jackson, I said.
I walk upstairs to Michael's room. I really hope he is okay. I give a few knocks on his door.
"Who is it?", a sad voice said behind the door.
"Hey, Mike it's me Tisha"
The door crept open slowly.
I walk into the room filled with darkness. After accidentally bumping what seems like a desk I tried to look the light switch."Keep the light off", Michael demanded.
"Well how else I'm supposed to see where I'm going", I said with sass in my voice.
With Michael sighing with annoyance he grabbed me by the arm and sat me on his bed.
"So, what your mother has been telling me you're having problems with acne".
"Yea"
"I was thinking maybe I can help"
Michael tried to change to the subject by asking me how the show was going for me.
"Anyways how rags to riches going for you".
"It's, going spectacular I guess", I sighed.
"What do you mean?"
"You see I'm having problems with my hair dresser. One day she was chatting with the other girls hair dresser's and I guess she thought she was in safe place where I wouldn't be hear her. She said "I hate doing black people hair it reminds me of pubic hair". After she said I started wearing wigs on the show from now on."
(Not Tisha having Dhar Mann moment😭)"Oh I'm sorry to hear that. You shouldn't really get that you to", Michael said.
"And what about you?"
"What about me?"
"I mean you're sitting in dark and refusing to come out your room. Your acne can't be that bad".
Tisha please I look hideous. I don't any girl would've go out with me".
After hearing Michael saying that it felt like a knife with through my heart. How could he say something like that. Without even thinking I turn on lamp next to his bed.
"Tisha what are you doing!", he yelled.
I stare at Michael and look him straight in his eyes. I genuinely don't see what he sees.
"Michael, you're so much more than that. Your kindness, your humor, your intelligence, that's what shines through. Acne is just a temporary thing, it doesn't define you".
Michael, feeling a bit emotional, he looks at me with gratitude in his eyes.
"Thanks Tisha", he smiled the he kissed me on my cheek.
I blushed a little bit.
I then suggested some skincare tips I read about.
"You should use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, and maybe see a dermatologist if needed".
Michael smiles, feeling grateful for my support and understanding. Our friendship grows stronger as we navigate through this moment together.
Well, after our heart-to-heart conversation, I headed home and Michael felt more confident and started following my skincare advice.
Sometime later on he noticed some improvements in his skin over time, which boosted his self esteem. I continued to be there for him, providing encouragement and cheering him on. As weeks passed, Michael's skin cleared up even more, and he began to see himself in a more positive light.
Michael and I friendship flourished, grounded in mutual support and understanding. We both realized that true beauty comes from within, and our bond grew stronger as we faced challenges together.
After Michael's skin started improving, he decided to thank me for all my help. He surprised me with a heartfelt note expressing his gratitude for my kindness and support during a tough time.
"Tisha, your kindness and support mean the world to me.
Thank you for seeing beyond my acne and reminding me of my worth.
Your friendship is a treasure, and I am grateful to have you by my side.
You've helped me see myself in a new light, and I can't thank you enough for that.
Here's to our friendship and many more moments like these.
Thank you for being my rock".
Love,MichaelI was deeply moved by his words and cherished the note as a symbol of our special bond. I felt happy to see Michael feeling better about himself. Our friendship deepened even more as we continued to be there each other through thick and thin. It was a beautiful reminder that true friendship and support can make a world of difference in someone's life.
