Michael pov
I could hardly believe it. Thriller was finally out in the world, and the response was nothing short of phenomenal. The album had taken off like wildfire, topping charts globally and breaking records left and right. Everywhere I went, people were talking about it, dancing to it, living it. It was a dream come true.
But amidst all the chaos, there was one constant that kept me grounded-Tisha. She had been my rock throughout the entire process, and now she was experiencing her own wave of success. Her second solo album had just dropped, and it was already being hailed as a smash hit.
One evening, we decided to celebrate our achievements together. I invited Tisha over to Hayvenhurst, where we could escape the madness for a while and just enjoy each other's company. As she walked through the door, her face lit up with that radiant smile I loved so much.
"Michael, can you believe it? Both of our albums are there, and people love them!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around in a tight hug.
I held her close, feeling the warmth of her embrace. "I know, it's incredible. But honestly, none of this would have been possible without you by my side."
She pulled back slightly, looking up at me with those sparkling eyes. "You give me too much credit. You're the one who created Thriller-it's a masterpiece."
"And your album is a masterpiece too," I countered, smiling down at her. "You've worked so hard, and it shows. I'm so proud of you, Tisha."
We spent the evening talking about our journeys, reminiscing about the countless hours in the studio, the late-night brainstorming sessions, and the moments of doubt we had overcome together. It felt surreal to think about how far we had come.
"Remember when we first met?" Tisha asked, her eyes twinkling with nostalgia. "We were both so nervous about our careers, unsure of what the future held."
I nodded, a chuckle escaping my lips. "Yeah, and look at us now. We've made it, Tisha. We've achieved our dreams."
She leaned in, resting her head on my shoulder. "And we did it together. That's what makes it so special."
As the night went on, we listened to each other's albums, sharing our favorite tracks and stories behind them. I played her Thriller again, and she danced around the room, her laughter filling the air.
"This song is going to be legendary," she said, catching her breath. "People will be talking about it for generations."
"And your music will inspire people countless artists," I replied, my heart swelling with pride. "You're amazing, Tisha."
We ended the night by making a promise to each other. No matter how busy our lives, no matter how high we climbed, we would always make time for each other. Our love was the foundation that had supported us through everything, and we knew it would continue to do so.
As I held Tisha in my arms, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. We had both achieved monumental success, but the real victory was having someone to share it with. Together, we were unstoppable.
(Sorry for not updating as much I've been busy getting ready for my senior year of high school and I've been re-writing some chapters)
