Chapter Thirty Four

Olivia and Elliot walked into the SVU squad room hand in hand, both with matching smiles.
"Hey, aren't you a ray of sunshine today" Fin smirked.
"I have an amazing boyfriend and son, a baby on the way and a great family. What more could I want" She smiled.
"She got laid this morning didn't she?" Elliot nodded, earning him a smack across his chest.
"Let me put my stuff down and pee for the eighth time this morning and we can get started" She smiled before she disappeared into her office.
"You're so whipped" Bruno teased "If I had a girlfriend like that I wouldn't act like-"
"Like what? Like a loving boyfriend?" Jet argued.
"Trust me, dating Olivia is the closest thing to heaven on earth" El smiled.

The two squads stood around and discussed the case before Anaya gave out assignments but Liv couldn't hear or feel anything. She could only feel the liquid in her underwear growing by the second.
"Let's get to it" Elliot nodded heading off with the others.
"Elliot" His body went cold at the tone in her voice. He turned to look at her his eyes landing on her fearful ones and the blood that covered her hand.
"I can't- I can't lose another one- I can't-" She choked on her tears as Elliot gathered her up in his arms.
"We don't know that, Livvie. Let's go to the hospital and find out what's going on, okay?" She nodded against his chest, letting him take most of her weight as they moved towards the elevator.
"We still have a job to do" Anaya reminded the rest of them.
"But she's family" Fin reminded her.
"And so is this little girl" She reminded him, holding up a picture of the victim "We find her then we can go to Liv, until then we bring Sophie home to her parents whilst Stabler stays with her" They all nodded before they all went about their assignments.

"What does that mean?" Olivia had went deaf the whole time the doctor was talking. To say that she was scared shitless was an understatement.
"It means Miss Benson will have to stay off her feet for a while, no stress, no strenuous activity, no sex. We want to get this baby to term" She smiled at Olivia but she still felt as if her world was ending.
"I've lost ten before. I've never got this far, not once. So what's different now? How do you know that my baby will make it?" Elliot squeezed her hand lightly.
"I can't say for sure but babies are very resilient. You're almost six months now, at twenty four weeks a baby has a pretty high chance of survival outside of the womb. The bleeding has stopped for now which is good. I'm hopeful about your chances"
"Will my baby survive?" Liv asked again.
"I think so. No baby will be born or lost today" She assured her. Liv let out the breath she didn't know that she was holding in.
"Thank you" The doctor nodded before she left the room.
"See? Baby Stabler isn't going anywhere" El smiled, his hand going to her stomach.
"Baby Stabler? The way this kid kicks it's definitely a Benson" She teased.
"What about Benson-Stabler?"
"I like Stabler-Benson more" She teased before she moved over on the bed "Come here" Elliot climbed onto the bed and wrapped his arms around her.
"I love you Olivia. More than I could ever put into words"
"I love you to El. Now shut up so I can have a nap" She smiled even as she closed her eyes.
"Yes Captain" He smiled against the top of her head, eventually feeling her drift off to sleep in his arms.

When Liv awoke next their were more voice in the room and she could feel Elliot's chest rumble under her ear as he spoke.
"She's doing great considering how scared she was when we got here"
"Liv is a strong woman" Fin agreed.
"How's the baby doing?" Anaya asked.
"It's fine. Both of my girls are fine" She felt him smile against the top of her head before he placed a kiss there.
"A girl? I've got a niece?" She could hear the smile in Fin's voice.
"Yeah. In case we lost it, she wanted to know so that she could name it like the others"
"Do you think that she will?" Fin asked.
"Yeah, El. Do you?" Liv spoke up, looking up at him.
"Both of my girls are strong" He smiled down at her, running his thumb over her cheek.
"You're sappy" She scrunched up her face but smiled.
"I'm in love" He smiled before he kissed her scrunched up lips.
"He's not getting laid until the doctor clears me, that's why he's being sappy instead of flirty" She explained.
"Am not. I would be sappy even if we could have sex" He challenged.
"Liar" She challenged with a smirk as Elliot scrunched up his face in response.
"When do you get out of here Liv?" Fin asked.
"I'm staying for a few days, or until I get bored-"
"You're on bedrest until the doctors say otherwise Livvie. No stress means no work" He reminded her.
"I have to get Noah to school and dance class and I have a mountain of paperwork already-"
"Noah has five older siblings that can help out and a father's work is never done" He smiled.
"And what about the paperwork?"
"I'm sure that Fin can drop it by, as long as it keeps you in bed"
"I liked the more fun ways of staying in bed" She pouted.
"So did I" He sighed before he laughed, his hand going to her stomach "It'll all be worth it in the end"
"Yes it will" She agreed with a contented sigh.
"We'll see you three tomorrow" Fin smiled, ushering the others out of the room.
"Do you think it was the sex?" El asked.
"Was what the sex?"
"The baby" Liv laughed loudly.
"No El, your dick didn't make our baby want to lave my body early"
"Just checking" He smiled.
"Are you sure that you can't fuck me? Not even a finger? Just one?"
"No Liv. Now go back to sleep" He ordered with a smile as he shut his eyes.
"Don't come complaining to me when you have blue balls" She muttered as she closed her eyes.
"It'll all be worth it in the end" He repeated.
