The lieutenant followed her boss through the court building and outside to the promenade. She could tell he was pissed, not only that the princess of hell came back but that she was down there with her.
"████." The lieutenant called out to the angel in front of her. He ignored her. "████!" He continued to ignore the calling of his name. She couldn't see his face, but she knew he was scowling. "████!!" She yelled.
"WHAT?!" He whipped around and screamed. "WHAT THE FUCK COULD BE SO IMPORTANT, ████?!" He yelled.
"Sir, we can't go back down there." She said to her boss. "You heard the high seraphim's order. "All we have to do is wait and we will get her back."
"I am waiting!" He explained. "I've been waiting!"
"Sir-"
"How many days will I have to wait until things actually start happening?" He questioned. "How many times will I have to be told to stand by before I'm told that she's back?!"
The lieutenant stared at him. She was surprised. He had never acted this around anyone before. He was losing himself and this is the worst she's ever seen him. He really couldn't live without her. The female angel sighed.
"I don't know, sir." She quietly said and looked to the ground.
The male angel grabbed the collar of her shirt to bring her face level with him.
"Get. Her. Back." He declared.
"Yes, sir." The liutenent quickly responded.
He dropped her to the floor.
"Kill anyone in your way." The male angel whispered.
He turned his back to her and spread out his golden wings. He flew into the light blue sky. Even if the sun was shining as bright as ever, there was something dark following him.
The lieutenant watched him go as she sat on the ground. This was more than a friendship. This was a dangerous love that would never leave the both of them.
