Eight

It was 12:48 am and Jen was waiting in the kitchen for Shane to come home.
It has been five hours since Glenn told Jen Rick was alive. Every minute that goes by Jen's rage for Shane grows stronger and stronger. She trusted Shane, loved Shane and he lied to her.

Jen looked at the duffle bag and at the corner of her eye the door swung opened and Shane came in.

"Sorry baby, I should have been here earlier but this whole situation with those two prisoners got the gov going crazy but it's kind of a good thing cause this is just causing the gov to trust me more."

"Im proud of you baby." Jen smiled," but you know I hate it when people lie to me."

"Lie about what? Sweetie what going on?"
Jen took out the guns Glenn and Maggie used and once Shane saw those appear he began getting nervous but his poker face shadowed over.
"Those two ambushed you huh? Their guns showed that they weren't even fired."
"Sweetie I was just-"
Jen cut him off, "Uh-huh don't you ever interrupt me. You interrupt me one more time I will fucking shoot you. But you know That's not the only thing I know. I talked to Glenn earlier, he told  me something that I couldn't even believe." Jen started to laugh and it riled up Shane.
"What? What did he tell you?" Jen kept laughing and she pushed her laughter to psychotic girlfriend mode.
Shane got closer and yelled," What the fuck did he say?"
Jen stopped laughing," Well if you insist then I'll tell you. Glenn told me that Rick is alive."
Shane stopped and chuckled, "No he's not. I saw Rick with my own two eyes die. He can not be alive, Glenn is lying."
Jen got up in frustration," No he is not. Glenn is not the lair, you are!"
"Why are you going to trust him? He almost killed me, are you going to trust a prisoner over your own boyfriend?"
"How can I not believe him, your story was shit Shane, Glenn told me he was from your old group, you lied about everything!"
"I didn't lie about everything!!"
Jen moved away from the table," What didn't you lie about?"
"I didn't lie about loving you. Because I do love you! I said all these things because I love you."
"Fuck off! I don't care about your love. I want the truth about the real person I care about...Rick. I want to hear you say it, Is really alive?"
Jen walked closer to Shane and he looked down, away from her, "Rick out there somewhere... Still alive the last time I saw him."

Jen looked at Shane and Started crying.
"I knew it." Tears rolled off her face, "I knew it. I knew it."
She stormed out the living room and into the bedroom with Shane following.
"I wanted to protect you." Shane grabbed Jen pulling her around to face him.
"Does protecting me mean you strip away my happiness of being away from my family? That's not protecting me, that not even a sign of love."
"Please stop.." Shane hugged Jen
"I cant believe you would do this to me."
"I promise I won't hurt you ever again." Shane held onto Jens' head and ran his fingers through her hair.
"Well, i know im not going to be sorry for this." Jen ran the hidden taser into Shanes' neck and he fell to the floor shaking.
"That felt great." Jen threw the taser on the bed and grabbed the handcuffs hidden from her pocket, cuffing him to the end bed frame.

Jen grabbed Shane's Glock and ran it with her to the door grabbing the duffle bag leaving.

Jen walked out of the building easily until she reached outside. She lingered against the building walls and slid between the shadows to risk from being noticed.

She stopped at the end of another building and checked who was guarding the shack door.
Shit. It was Chris. She thought it was going to be Jim blocking the door. She was willing to kill Jim but not Chris. He's such a sweetheart. But she had to improvise; she grabbed a rock and threw it across hitting the gate. Chris looked at the gate and went to check. Jen opened the bag and took out a rifle she grabbed from the ammunition rod. Jen snuck up behind him and waited for him to turn around.
