The two drove back in the direction of the prison and it was already dark out, but barely by 6:30.

On the right was a sign: exit 7 to child/family service care facility.

"Ifs getting late, we'll need a place to stay." Daryl drove down the private road for a good mile and at the end was a facility. It looked like a home but it wasn't, it was like some unique modern office.

Once Daryl stopped Jen got off the motorcycle and Daryl followed behind to the door.
Jen tried opening the door but Daryl pushed her aside,"Not all door is left unlocked."
He took out two small sharp objects and began picking the lock.

Jen got excited," Oh shit! Can you pick lock doors? Daryl, you have got to teach me that."

In a blink of an eye, the door flew open, "It's the easiest thing ever." Daryl responded raising his crossbow.
Jen followed behind Daryl with her gun.

They entered in and it was a tiny room full of love seats and a secretary desk, next to it was a dark spacious hall.

The first three rooms were locked and the fourth room was full of children toys and books.

Jen opened the door next to it and behold, it was filled with toddler and baby items. She looked around in awe and as well did Daryl.

"How the fuck?" he whispered.

Jen smiled in eagerness and ran around the room, grabbing diapers, blankets, clothes and other baby needs.

As soon as Daryl came back from looking around, he brought the pack of beer. He stopped at the door way and Jen had three bags full of baby items.

"You are not taking all those bags back to the prison."
He walked to Jen and slid down the walk sitting next to her.

Jen was oddly tired from the excitement of the baby supplies,"Man I wish we can. Judith really needs it."
Daryl opened the box and took two Blue ribbon out, "here it looks like you need one."
Jen pushed away from the can in disgust," Ew. I already told you I hate, Blue ribbon. It the grossest beer out there."

"Whatever more for me." They click open and he chugged the whole thing, crushing it at the end, throwing it across the room.

"Have you never drank any other beer like Corona, or shock top, even Bud light. I would slightly prefer that than a blue ribbon."

"It's cheap, That's why.  Those other beers are good and ales are good too I guess but this one was the one I would normally get before the apocalypse."

They sat for a minute and then Jen realized she wanted to know more about Daryl, more about his life besides his family issues.

"You know, im interested." She said holding onto her legs bringing them closer to her chest.

"Interested in what? My other alcohol choices?" he smirked.

"No, I mean who you are, your personality. I thought of you as a completely different person than I expected."

"I told you I dont do backstories, What did you expect of me?"

"Well." She said grinding her teeth," I thought of you as some ass hole that only cares about himself."

"Yeah, well your kind or right and wrong." Again, taking another sip.
