Ten

Jen sat at the edge of the bunk-bed watching over the girl she untied from the hideaway shed.

The girl was still asleep and Jen wanted to sot here until she woke up.

"Who are you?" Whispered Jen underneath her breath.

Rick walked in the room to join his sister," Do you know her?"

"No, I found her locked up too and the crazy thing is I have never seen in that town and im the main medical assistant there. I know who everyone is, just not her."

"That town seems a bit rough."

"It's not. There's food, water, lighting. Everything. It's just the gov. Of the town is a sick man. He has a secret room of Zombie's heads in fish tanks, I think I even saw one non-Walker one. He sexually assaulted Maggie. That man is the definition of a psychopath."

"How do the people not know about this?"

"That's the thing, Rick. Nobody knew, besides me. I even tried talking to Shane about it but he thought it was completely normal. After all the lies, I believe he knew about the room, probably even Merle too."

"I cant live now knowing Shane is out there. Even merle. That damn son of a bitch. That town is not gonna get away with the shit they do."

"What do you plan on heading over there, fucking taking over the place." Jen began laughing like it was a joke, which it was but rick wasn't joking

"Holy shit you're serious."

"How can I not be, I don't want to live knowing those two are alive. They're better off dead."

"Yea I know where you're coming from. I want them dead too but it won't happen and there will be nothing to worry about. I am pretty sure ill never see any of them again."

"What makes you so sure. They held maggie and glenn there and they lied to you. They wanted to come here and hurt us. How can I be okay with that knowing my people are in damger."

"You are not in danger. None of you are. Nobody from woodbury leaves the town and dosent travel more than two towns over or past the deep forest. Those guys would want to find me and maggie and glenn but they will mever find us here. It's too far from woodbury and there is no sign of us being here."

"I see where you're coming from but im not putting my guard down, especially for Shane and merle cause I know them. And they never back down from anything."

"Yea especially that dick Shane." Jen gazed in anger reminding her of the lies and manipulation he has shown her.

"I cant believe I tristed that man. Trusted him being in my life, being with my family and being with you."

"Neither can i." Jen started to shake, it was the only way of holding jer feelings.
"I loved him rick." She whispered through the dim light of the cell block.
Rick tensed, he hated the thought of Shane and Jen back then and still does today.

"Look I know you hate him now and never liked the thought of us two but i did love him." Jen took a quick chuckle," I remember when you couldnt drop me off the first day of high school with your car so you and shane took the cop car. When I left that car everyone at the school was staring, thinking we were the most sickest people in town. And i remember looking back and seeing you and shane laughing. Then he looked at me and killed me with that smile of his."
