I woke up the next morning and sighed loudly.

"Lucas fucking Robert Hemmings." I muttered to myself.

I got up and did my usual morning routine.

I decided to wear my grey skinnys, and black crop top that has the words written in white
BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK.

my plan for today, meeting up with Luke, and breaking up with him.

I don't want to. I don't want to leave Luke. But I have to, right? He cheated on me. I don't need to hear his explanation. I don't care.

I'm dreading for the moment when I say those words to Luke.

You cheated on me.

We're over.

Those two sentences relaying over and over in my mind.

I grabbed met phone and texted Luke.

Lila- meet me at Hyde Park right now, please.

I got a reply moments later.

Luke- okay, is everything alright?

Lila- I'm not sure.

I put my phone in my pocket and started walking to Hyde Park. That park is on the end of my street, so it's only like, a 2 minuet walk.

I reached the park, and I guess Luke drove here, because he is leaning on his car. I know he lives next to me, so why would he drive here? Its not far.

You're such a lazy ass Luke, haha.
Wait, no haha. I'm here for a reason.

I slowly approached him. My heart pounding faster by the second.

"L-Luke." I stuttered.

He looked up from his phone.

"Lila, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Luke asked me, worry filled in his eyes.

"Y- well. No, I'm not." I sighed.

"Why?" He asks me, his hands on my shoulders.

"I- we... need to.... y-you... you cheated on me." I spat.

Luke's P.O.V.

Once those words came from her mouth, I swear, my heart fell to my feet.

How could I ever cheat on her? Why would she think that? I would never do that.

LACY!!

the disgusting girl that kissed me yesterday! She saw that!

"Lila! No, no, no, listen to me. I would never d-" she cut me off.

"Luke, save it. I don't care." She waved her hand, "I just, I mean. We could use a break anyways."

"No, Lila, please. Listen to me." I felt the tears forming in my eyes already.

"No, Luke. Please, don't make this harder for me than it already is. We're over." A tear rolled down her cheek.

I already knew that a whole tsunami was talking down my cheeks right now.

"Lila, don't say that." I choked out.

"Goodbye Luke." She whispered, her voice barely audible.

Lila's P.O.V.

"Goodbye Luke." I whispered, not sure if he heard me.

Luke was crying right now, I should have listened to him.

Well, sorry Lila. It's too late now.

I did the right thing, right?

I turned to walk away, but Luke's voice stopped me.

"I'm such a fuckup." He muttered.

"Luke, I'm sorry." I cried.

"Its not your fault. Its that girl, Lacy's." He sighed.

"Lacy? Gayle?" I turned around to face him, shocked. Lacy Gayle was my best friend in year 5. Until she started hating me. I don't know why.

"I don't know. I don't even know her." Luke sobbed.

"I- I gotta go. Bye Luke." I stuttered.

"I love you." He whimpered.

I turned around one last time.

"And I won't ever stop loving you." He finished.

☆☆☆

After breaking up with Luke, I went straight home and sobbed all day.

I stayed in my room, isolated.

Days passed after I broke up with Luke.

Days turned into weeks.

Weeks turned into months.

Soon enough, months turned into years.
