I woke up that morning to the presence of an empty bed.
I felt around with my eyes still closed.
But I couldn't feel Luke.I opened my eyes and he wasn't in his room either.
'Where is he?' I thought to myself.
"Luke?" I said aloud.
"I'm in the bathroom." A raspy voice replied.
"Oh." I chuckled, "I thought you left."
"I wouldn't leave, without a goodbye at least." He replied while walking out of his bathroom, "Goodmorning beautiful."
"Goodmorning Luke." I smirked.
"It's Saturday and were have nothing to do. Any suggestions?" He asked me.
"I don't know." I said while looking down, about to tindle with my bracelets, but they weren't on my wrist, and you could clearly see my scars. "Crap." I whispered to myself.
I had them on at the party last night."Looking for something?" Luke asked me while holding up all my bracelets.
"Luke.." I exclaimed while digging my head into one of his pillows.
"It's fine, I already knew. But why?" He said.
"What do you mean?" I asked while lifting my head up a little.
"Why did you do it." He stated.
"Because I just-----" I started, "I don't know, there was just the urge because everything going on and I jus-"
"I wish you hadn't. You had me so worried that I did something wrong." Luke said as I looked up at him, his eyes were tearing up, so I knew I made a huge mistake.
"Luke. Please. Don't cry, I'm sorry." I apologized while myself, starting to tear up also.
He raised his hand up to his forehead.
"Was it my fault?" He asked."No Luke! Of course not, why would you ever think that! You're perfect, you've treated me perfect, it wasn't you. I promise." I exclaimed.
"I just thought because--you're just a little bit out of my limit. I just never wanna be that guy who makes you cry. It's been two years now and you haven't even seen the best me." He told me.
"Luke, you're dreaming if you think I'm out of your limit. And you've never made me cry before. Also, It's fine if I haven't seen the best of you. But why 2 years?" I said.
"2 years. 2 years ago I was happier than I am now. That's when I'm not with you, I'm happier than I ever was when I'm with you, but when I'm not, It's been 2 years since I've been that happy." He replied.
"Why?" I asked.
"It's a long story." He mumbled.
"I've got the time." I replied with a small smile.
"Okay, there was this girl, Ally. I thought I loved her, that's because I hadn't met you yet. But at the time when we were dating, I did love her. One day, we were going to dinner. I was driving, and we were laughing the while ride, we got to the diner and on our way back, it was full of just random conversations. I was about to tell her 'I love you', but that's all I remember before everything went black. I felt a jolt, then everything was black. Then I woke up in a hospital bed, I asked the doctor what happened and he said a drunk driver ran a red light and hit us. I asked them where's Ally, but everyone went silent after that, I kept asking them questions about her, then finally they answered me, 'Luke. I'm sorry, the crash was just too powerful, She couldn't hold on anymore. Ally passed away.' Was their reply." Luke said while a tear trickled down his cheek.
"It was a horrible day. I've never been heartbroken before, that was my first. She was my first girlfriend I loved. She meant so much to me, and She was gone so quickly." He finished and put both his hands over his face while sitting on his bed.
