Y/n L/n, a 19-year-old veteran of the foster care system, has developed a wit sharper than most daggers and a personality colder than a demigod's winter. After hopping from one family to another—like a stray cat nobody could keep—she's built up a reputation for not being easily impressed. She has a worldview best described as "pessimistic chic," the kind of outlook where anyone or anything that breathes around her is immediately on trial. Not that she cares much for people's opinions, because, well, she's never really had a family that stuck around long enough to form any. Sarcasm is her mother tongue, and rolling her eyes at everything is practically a full-time job. When Y/n isn't busy hating the world, she's probably planning how to win her next verbal spar or perfecting the art of the deadpan stare. In her circle of friends, though, she's loyal—like an exasperated cat that pretends to hate you but still curls up on your lap anyway.
She's got enough opinions to fill a library and enough emotional baggage to sink a ship, but somehow manages to still keep it together. Mostly. Her greatest skill is the ability to side-eye someone into a state of existential dread. In fact, Y/N's side-eye could probably be classified as a superpower if she wasn't already too busy rolling her eyes at the suggestion. If she had a spirit animal, it'd be a cat that only hisses at people but secretly purrs when no one's looking. Her idea of affection is grumbling about how her friends are idiots, which, in Y/N-speak, is the equivalent of saying, "I love you."
