The morning on the AV was as usual filled with echoes of "good morning"s as people emerged from their rooms, yawning and rubbing their faces to brush off any remnants of Hypnos in their minds, trying to reel themselves back into a state of complete consciousness.

The AV had started to move across the other side, once again to avoid the direct route otherwise used by flights, just in case there were traps or monsters laid out there by the killer. The clouds visibly soared under them as the Voyager sailed through the Stratosphere, the radar making sure to detect and avoid any nearby airplanes or unregistered flying objects so they could go undetected. It was strange how calm the sky was when they weren't on the ground, like for once even Zeus was shutting up to let them travel without any hiccups caused by his "youngest sibling" tantrums.

That was named by Percy, by the way.

While Asael had made his way with Grover to a spot outside the AV to check for any damages caused by the violent storm back in Mexico, Annabeth, Maliah, and Y/n had decided to take their time to play card games and chat while Maliah redid Annabeth's hair. The girls had taken some time to unwind and have some "girls only" room all to themselves, because of which they kicked out a very complaining Luke and VERY clingy Percy out after a lot of screaming and explaining. Since Declan was busy in the small kitchen, cooking for the kids, the two boys were left to themselves to do whatever men did when unsupervised and allowed to roam without any work for the time being.

About an hour or two into their time together, the three girls were already laughing and giggling as they told each other stories and incidents from their lives and random gossip that worked hand in hand with the fact that they had stopped playing UNO and were now painting each other's nails using the uncharmed nail polish bottles in the bag given to Y/n by the Aphrodite girls.

"What do you think of Asael?" asked Annabeth to Maliah, who was choosing a few tiny star charms to stick on her nails which she had painted a gorgeous dark red color. Her cheeks flared up, but she immediately shrugged and looked up at the girl much younger than her. Those beautiful brown eyes twinkled as she thought about her answer, before responding thoughtfully.

"He's nice. Funny, cool... but there's something weird about him that I can't really put my finger on. Not like he's bad to be around, but I think he feels overwhelmed around me."

Y/n immediately giggled and gave her a gentle kick on her thigh, leaning back into the bed as she assessed her friend's expression when she spoke about the boy. As far as she knew, Maliah never ever spoke about people in a way that could be described as romantic; instead, her way of speaking was better described as 'analysis'. She respected that; it meant she knew Maliah was never going to outsell anyone when describing them.
