Tw- None! [Some implications of drugs]*・゚゚・*:.。..。.:*゚:*:✼✿
24th of December.
A day filled with joy and excitement for many. The sound of approaching Christmas, falling snow that littered the ground and painted the entire city wild. The sky was lighter than usual, the population getting ready for the approaching day.
The sun managed to make the weather more bearable, but people still walked outside in their protective clothes. Most of them were covered in sweaters and scarves, laughing and talking amongst themselves as they spoke about their plans for the day. So many gifts to buy, so many people to visit. The entire world seemed to be alive..
Except a single house.
Y/n sat by the window on the couch which had been pushed closer to the glass so she could look outside, her mentally torture working well to make her feel some amount of ache in her heart other than constant numbness. It had been 3 weeks since the man's trial, and as she had expected, there had been no life sentence. The punishment sounded like a slap on the wrist to her, a slap on the wrist for harming someone who did nothing but exist.
Her once gorgeous h/c hair was dulled out, laid down over her blue sweater lazily. From someone who took care of herself because of the way people expected her to be because she was a child to THE Soo Yui, to a girl who found it hard to get out of bed without having to hold something to support herself- it felt like some cruel game the universe was playing on her. She was a strong girl, a girl who had enough mental strength to endure the most horrific tortures, but the injury had snatched away everything she liked doing. She couldn't go back to school anymore because she wouldn't be able to handle her classmates asking very valid questions. She had missed her international competition, all the fun places her handful of friends had been to...
Her childhood which had just started had been snatched away so suddenly she didn't even get to cry for it.
Raising her hand, she took a spoonful of pomegranate in her mouth and bit down, the sweet taste spilling over her tongue. Previously she used to have fun eating the thing, purposely pressing it on her arm and making the red liquid stay so she could scare her mother with the makeshift blood- but right now, her mind had to force her body to do the simple task of eating.
Her ankles, wrapped in their fresh bandages, seemed to be mocking her again. Oh look it's the bastard child who can't walk anymore, what good is a mind without a body to support it?
She must be the funniest joke to the gods, if they existed.
Beside the couch lay her crutches, unused for now since the girl was too invested in watching the world outside. The falling snow, the movement, made her greedy. She too wanted to be outside, she too wanted to be untouched and pure.
