{Luke loved me, and I loved him. And that was all that mattered for now on.}
Epilogue ~ day after graduation
Alex~
In the end, everything had worked out pretty well.
I had graduated High school with a pretty good average and was heading off to university with Luke. I no longer talked with mom as much but I still stayed respectful to her. As for Lauren, she won't let me go to university without taking her with me. Every time she says that in front of Connor, I swear he sheds a tear. They're going to be such a adorable pair of best friends.
I'm typing this now, hoping that one day some one else would be inspired to live their life. Learn to love and how to move on. As long as these words are here, and people can read and understand them, I have immortalized this story.
Glancing in the mirror, I know my life will never be the same.
I can see perfectly now. And I've gotten used to the whole changing colour thing. I have an appointment with a specialist because they want to find out what had triggered this strange phenomenon.
As for Luke... well, here I am sitting on the computer, dressed in some comfy clothing waiting for him to pick me up. Supposedly we're supposed to be going somewhere... a surprise he had told me.
Oh well, he's at the door! Gotta go! Thanks for listening.
Byeee!
xoxo,
Alex
