School starts for me veerry soon, like January 3rd soon, and I'm going to be quite busy what with exams, isps, choir & cadets. I'll try to squeeze in chapters every so often, but it won't be as much. I'm thinking of writing a much more fun story (probably the Untitled. For now) story. Tell me what you like, dislike, I'd like some feedback please :) Thanks

xoxo,

Carole

Chapter 10- I'm sorry, I'm not perfect

Lauren's POV

I woke up kind of dizzy, I rubbed my eyes and got up off the bed. I couldn't really remember much...oh wait! Now I remember!

I remember Lexie singing a pretty song then me going to help her off the stage. I remember.... I look up and all that I could see was pink pink pink! Hot pink, light pink! Chelsea's room sure was pink! On the floor lay lots of clothes. I remember us playing dress up again.

Beside me, lying on the bed were Chelsea and Connor. Connor looked adorable. I blushed, what was this feeling?

Chelsea's mommy knocked on the door, "Kids, wake up! It's time for breakfast, and after we're going to the hospital."

I saw Chelsea sleepily get up and rub her eyes, her favourite blankie thrown over her shoulder.

Connor had very messy hair and glared at me, "What are you looking at?"

I shrugged and got off the bed. Chelsea followed suit and we went downstairs for breakfast. "Mmm, pancakes," I heard Chelsea exclaim in delight. The smell made my mouth water, along with the sight of fresh fruit.

We all sat at the table, Chelsea beside me and Connor right across from me.

"Where's Luke?" Connor whispered to his mommy.

"He went to the hospital ahead of us," their mommy looked at me with a sad smile."Your sister, Alexis had a little accident last night, but she'll be okay. We're going to go visit her after breakfast."

"Oh," I looked down with sad eyes, why was it that everything bad happened to my family?

Chelsea gave me a smile, "Don't worry Ren, she'll be fine."

For a moment I swear I saw Connor give me a small smile of pity.

After we finished eating, Connor and Chelsea helped me make a "Get well" card for Lexie. Well Chelsea helped the most, while all Connor did was make fun of it.

Hey, I thought it was pretty good I thought as I admired our handiwork. There were rainbows, and happy smilies.

"Why hasn't your sister ever looked me in the eye?" I heard Connor ask suddenly.

"She's blind, you didn't know?" I said, unconcernly, drawing some bunnies.

Connor's jaw dropped.

"Come on, I think I heard your mom call us," I said as I picked up the card and started walking back towards the kitchen.

I put on my jacket and boots and followed Chelsea, who was following her mommy to the garage. We were driving to the hospital. This was going to be my first time going to a hospital! I wondered what it looked like.

We drove in what felt like silence. Chelsea was chatting away about what she wanted for Christmas but I wasn't really listening. Sure, five more days until Christmas, but I didn't really care. I found studying Connor much, much more interesting.

He showed no signs of emotion. I sighed and started twirling my hair.

"Would you please stop that?" Connor said unexpectedly.
