He sighed, sitting on the roof of Thor's castle, which showed him the amazing view that Asgard had. He had visited the realm many times before, but never had he stood still to admire the beauty that it held. The prismatic colors that surrounded the realm could be the effect of being so near the Bifrost Gate, but it was beautiful all the same. He could view the skyline stretch out, stars adorning the landscape that was beyond the gate. He was amazed by the natural tapestry that the stars created, a different view that he was enjoying a bit more than back on Earth.
His enhanced senses alerted him, his ears picking the soft clicks of heels making contact with the marble floor. He glanced back, his eyes catching the red haired sister of Thor walking towards him. He raised a brow behind his mask, the arachnid hero of New York City carefully watching just how the Asgardian sat beside him. The silence was ominous, the two heroes not saying a word to each other. He could see that she wanted peace and silence, even if it was for a few minutes.
"Fancy seeing you here, Angela" He whispered, his eyes still overlooking the black canvas that was space. He didn't know how he was able to see the contrast between daylight and a night sky, but here he was admiring just that in Asgard. "I half expected you to stay in your own celebration for becoming the Leader of the Hunt in Asgard" He added softly, a small smile hidden by his mask. He was happy for her, a great achievement for the female that sat next to him. But he could also see that she was not completely in the celebration of her own achievements. "What brings you out here?"
"Is great to see thee as well, Spider-Man" He chuckled slightly, immediately recognizing the old English that most Asgardians would use. He could guess that she immediately got accustomed to that way of speaking, his mind reminding him that she was not raised in Asgard but in Heven as the wingless angel. But he ignored his thoughts for the moment, preferring to just simply admire the paradise that he was watching at the moment and to listen to whichever Angela may say next. "And I think it is the same reason as to why thou are out here"
"Yeah... Never was a party man..." The hero admitted, sighing as he turned his head to look at the woman who was raised in Heven. He was slightly surprised when he saw the female giving him a beautiful smile in return. He was thankful that he had his mask over his face, because he knew that he would be blushing heavily because of that. He was man enough to admit when his instincts would overcome his rational thoughts, and being in the presence of a beautiful woman was one of those moments. He had experienced those moments many times in the past. "But I can tell that you are not simply here to see the stars, are you?"
He smiled slightly behind his mask, immediately noticing just how the Asgardian female stayed silent to his question. He could see her debating whether to answer his question or not. But she didn't need to do so, he could already guess that she wanted to ask him something. He even noticed just how the female got even closer to him, her shoulder touching his own. And he could have sworn that he saw a momentaneous smirk appear on her lips, but there was nothing he could say to prove that. It just made him even more curious as to why she was there to begin with.
"Thou are correct with thy assessment, Spider-Man" She confirmed his line of thought. He may not be considered by most to be a smart man, but inside still lived the nerd that went to Midtown High. What surprised him even further was the look of respect and worry that the Asgardian gave him. "Thee remind me of a friend of mine..." She added, making him raise his eyebrow in confusion. He was almost praying that he would escape from this without the need to answer any personal questions. And he especially did not want to explain to any Asgardian his actions or inactions. "A man that was willing to make a deal with the devil just to find solace for one last time"
Those words struck something inside of him, a sudden pain appearing over his chest. He didn't know why her words impacted him greatly or even why he felt as if he lost something important to him because of it. But he couldn't dwell on it further, the female right beside him was not allowing him to. He saw just how the female turned to him, and extended her hand towards him. He responded in courtesy, extending his own. She gently caressed them, his eyes seeing just how she took a large breath before letting it out.
"And then... It got me thinking about my past with him" She smiled at him, his eyes widening slightly as he felt her hands leave his own and move towards his cheeks. He silently cursed his slow reaction to her movements, but even then he felt just how his slightly shocked expression suddenly shifted. Her actions even made him give out yet another smile that was tugging at the corner of his lips. It was then that his mask was removed by the female, with said Asgardian also kissing him pleasantly. "It was one of the only relationships I had with a male... Maybe I can experience it once more not only with someone that I consider has the same values as him, but a hero that helped my brother in many ways"
His gaze was practically fixated on the Leader of the Hunt, an Asgardian beauty who just stayed there waiting patiently. He didn't know that the female held such strong admiration and hidden emotions for him. He half expected to end up alone after how his last relationship ended with the Black Cat ending things up once more before they could even try to actually go serious. And it was then that it got him thinking that it would not be such a bad idea to reciprocate her feelings. It was why he moved back in for a second kiss, surprising the female greatly. Their shared kiss ignited something inside of him, something that the stars illuminating the landscape of Asgard was not able to do. In that moment, he knew that no matter what challenges may come his way, that he would be there to stare right at them and all because he had her right by his side.
