Campfire was usual, that is, until a
quest was announced.

Now, in my mind, a quest = How to get killed 101 guide for demigods. But there were quests where heroes survived on, and even embarked on voluntarily, for glory, and blah blah blah. Like glory's gonna attend your 99% possible funeral. Dead's dead and I got a lot I want to do before my meeting with Hades.

But it is quite hypocritical of me to say that, because, in fact, I had survived on the one quest I was given in my life. It was when the goddess Artemis was held captive by Atlas, I had survived, but with severe PTSD. But it doesn't mean that I love quests, I absolutely hate them.

Unfortunately for me, this prophecy specifically asked for my requirement in the quest.

The night started normally, with me sitting under my cabin's table, under the Nyx banner.

And everything went down as Chiron made the announcement.

"A special welcome to our new arrivals. i am chiron, camp activities director, and i'm happy you have all arrived here with most of your limbs attached. in a moment, i promise we'll get to the smores-"

"WHAT ABOUT CAPTURE THE FLAG?!" a chorus of noise arose from the Ares cabin table, most of them donned armours. Again. Clearly, they weren't convinced yet that no monsters are going to barge in camp during campfire yelling, 'FOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD!!!!FRESHHHH PRODUCEEE DEMIIIIGOOODDDD'

"Yes, i know the Ares cabin is eager to get back to return to the woods for our regular games-"

"and kill people!" one shouted.

That was a lie, probably to scare the new kids.... Well hopefully it would stay a lie.

"However, until the dragon is under control, that won't be possible. cabin nine, any news?"

Everyone looked at the new arrival, Leo's, group. he waved at me again, while next to him, Nyssa looked uncomfortable.

"We're working on it." she nodded.

"How, nyssa?" an Ares kid grumbled.

"Really hard."

I hope it will get resolved soon, I wanted to return to my usual hidden spot without having to worry about being roasted alive.

"We will have to be patient." chiron sighed. "In the meantime, we have more pressing matters to discuss."

I sighed. Those matters could only be about Percy.

"Percy?" someone called out.

Annabeth stepped forward. "I didn't find percy." She sounded broken just by saying his name. "He wasn't at the grand canyon. But we're not giving up. We've got teams everywhere. Grover, tyson, the hunters of artemis- everyone's looking. We will find him. Chiron's talking about something different- a new quest.'

A new quest? When did this happen?

"It's the great prophecy, isn't it?"

Oh god. Everyone had hoped that the great prophecy would be a problem for some other generation. The sufferings during recent times...... it was too great. No, no, I must stay positive.

"Drew? what do you mean?" Annabeth asked.

"Olympus is closed. Percy disappeared. hera sends you a vision and you come back with four new demigods in one day. The great prophecy has started, hasn't it?"

Hera sent a vision? This was new to me. Must have missed out on a lot when I went to my cabin and caught some Z'sss.

I looked up to the sky, eyeing the moon and the stars as I tried to calm myself down. I tried to call upon their force, very slightly, of course, I hadn't mastered that power yet.
