(Inumaki was training but started coughing, he worried friends, then he went back to the subway to learn more)

I went back to school, carefully avoiding my friends as they spam my phone with notifications. I put my phone on silent and entered my dorm. I can't keep avoiding them for any longer... I sighed and rested my face in my hands.

Knock, knock

Why now? I lifted my head and answered the door. There standing in front of my door was Megumi. "Toge-senpai?" Megumi? What was he doing here? I frozed at the door, but allowed him to enter.

Me and Megumi sat down on my bed and sat there in silence. What did Megumi want? Was he going to snitch on me, and tell the others I'm in my dorm? This is getting to stress-

"I'm not going to snitch on you, nor am I going to bother asking you why you ran away. I'm just hear to inform you that Gojo wants to speak to you." Wait what? Was he reading my thoughts?

Megumi stood up, and began walking away. I looked at the floor, then looked at Megumi. I stood up and clinged on Megumi's sleeve. He flinched, and turned around to face me.

'Please don't leave yet, I want to tell you something'

Megumi nodded and closed the door behind him. I fidgeted with my fingers and bit my bottom lip. I slowly reached for the tube in my pocket and took it out. I placed the tube in Megumi's hand and sighed.

'Yesterday I fought against a curse, and right before it died it struck me with the liquid. I didn't think much of it until I started coughing up petals.'

I saw Megumi's eyes widened as my hands started shaking. I reached for the petals from earlier and placed it gently in Megumi's hand.

'...I searched up what happens when you cough up petals and it told me.... That I had the Hanahaki curse..'

My hands trembled as tears formed in my eyes. I smiled slightly as I was fighting back tears.

'It told me that I either have to confess to my crush, get surgery which costs lots of money for, but ill lose the ability to love again, or....'

I looked up and tears ran down my cheek as I hid my face in my face, trembling. Megumi hugged me and rubbed my back. I just couldn't control it anymore and began sobbing into Megumi's uniform. Hiccups, sniffles, and sobs filled up the quiet room, the sky fading into a orange themed shade. Birds chirping in the background.
