"Jungwon, could you help collect that one worksheet from last week? The one for the practical," Ms Jeong asked Jungwon as he approached her table to hand in the day's task.
"Sure, Ms," Jungwon replied politely and turned to his classmates, who were busy chatting loudly.
"Guys! Please take out your worksheet from last week! I'm going to walk around and collect it. Anyone who didn't do it or didn't bring it tell me and Ms Jeong will tell you what to do. Understood?" Jungwon shouted to the class, which made everyone quiet instantly.
Immediately, students started taking out their homework and he went to walk around, starting from the corner of the lecture hall, where Sunoo was sitting.
Sunoo smirked as Jungwon walked by his desk. "Leave it to the teacher's favourite to get everyone's attention."
"Kid, please stop," Jungwon sighed and Sunoo snorted.
Luckily, the rows all before the last row bought their homework, so it was easy for Jungwon to just collect and go. He finally reached the last row, where Heeseung, Jay and their friend, Nicholas, sat.
"I didn't know you were that loud," Heeseung joked, handing in his paper. Nicholas did the same as well as Jay.
Jungwon shrugged. "You don't pay attention I guess." Then, he walked off towards the teacher's table.
Jay's POV
"Ooooohhhh," Nicholas teased as Jungwon walked away.
"I mean's he's not wrong....i did that paper without thinking," Jay laughed when Heeseung smacked his arm. "Kidding! I'm not that stupid okay."
"Well then, maybe I am. Cuz I know I did it without thinking," Nicholas sighed sadly and both Heeseung and Jay snorted with laughter.
"But really, I didn't know he could grab people's attention like that. It's kinda....amazing," Heeseung told them and Nicholas coughed while Jay gave Heeseung a flabbergasted look.
"You like him?" Jay asked.
Heeseung shrugged. "Maybe? I mean, he's cute. But like...I don't know?"
"Yah, that's because you flirt with too much people," Nicholas scoffed and Heeseung smacked his head. "IM SORRY!" he yelled.
Just then, Ms Jeong clapped her hands to grab their attention. "Boys, focus please."
"Yes Ms," the three of them responded.
"As I was saying," Ms Jeong explained, "for your final exam, it'll be a group project, where you'll need to be in groups of 6. I'll send the details to the class group chat. In the meantime, try and find your group by the end of the week, okay?"
Everyone nodded and Ms Jeong dismissed the class.
"Should we ask Jungwon to be part of our group?" Heeseung asked.
"Whoa you really are crushing hard-OW!" Nicholas shouted. Heeseung was glaring at him and Jay just couldn't hold in his laughs.
"I'm just suggesting, jeez what's wrong with you," Heeseung argued.
"But wouldn't Jungwon want to pair up with Sunoo and Jake?" Jay asked, pointing to where Jungwon was talking with Jake. To his surprise, Sunoo wasn't there but instead, Niki had took his place, bickering with Jake as Jungwon was scrolling through his phone.
"But they need three more people. Let's ask if we can join them," Nicholas pointed out. The three of them walked over to the three at the classroom door.
"Jungwon!" Heeseung called. Jungwon turned around and looked over at them. Jay didn't know why, but he found Jungwon's surprised expression quite cute. His big eyes turned even bigger and his lips would make a small pout.
