Jungwon huffed out a breath as he watched Jin Ae scramble backwards. She always knew Jungwon as a timid and obeying boy, so of course he didn't expect this grown up badass man to curse at her like that.
It honestly felt good. Amazing even.
He sighed and turned towards his friends who were gaping at him in shock. He raised an eyebrow at them.
Jay stepped forward slowly, raising his hand against his chest. "You....good?"
"Why wouldn't I be? I just told my ex to fuck off," Jungwon sassed, causing Jake to grimace but smile satisfyingly. Sunoo grinned widely and went over to hugged Jungwon's shoulders. He wiped away a fake tear and sniffed, "I raised my baby so well."
Jungwon chuckled. He shook his head at Sunoo's dramatics. Sunoo then looked at him seriously and grabbed his shoulders. "But seriously though, are you okay?"
"Yeah, just a bit shocked that's all. I mean, we all were," Jungwon looked around and all his friends nodded. He knew Jin Ae was a pick me, but that's the worse he's ever seen her. That was where she had crossed the line.
"Aish! Let's forget about all this! I'm suddenly hungry," Jake announced, waking over to one of the stalls that sold bubble tea. Heeseung followed after him and asked, "you said you're hungry but you're going over to a bubble tea stall?"
"They mean the same thing," Jake argued, rolling his eyes.
They continued to bicker and the rest of them just enjoy the drama silently, smiling shamelessly at their cuteness.
Jungwon was busy filming the two as a form of memory, when he felt a strong presence beside him.
He stopped filming and kept his phone, then looked over at the blacked haired male, who was smiling ahead."Yes?" Jungwon asked.
Jay looked over at him and smiled even wider, and Jungwon's heart skipped a beat. He looked so cute when he smiled like that. His eyes curved up and his smile was just adorable. Jungwon wondered why Jay never showed this side to others besides his friends.
He would have definitely been liked more. Got asked out even more-
Wait why was he thinking of that?
And for some reason, his stomach felt funny when he thought of that, while his heart beat slowed and his frowned slightly.
What feeling was this?
"Hey, what's going in there?" Jay whispered, bending down to Jungwon's ear level. Jungwon froze at the sudden closeness, but managed to reply a stuttery, "n-nothing."
Jay leaned back. "Clearly it isn't nothing. Is it about...someone? Your crush maybe?" He wriggled his eyebrows at Jungwon and the younger smacked the older's head.
"What? No! You're assuming things," Jungwon scoffed, walking ahead, leaving Jay behind. The older jogged to keep up with Jungwon's pace, and grinned. "Who is it?"
Jungwon didn't know what made him say it, maybe it was just him being sarcastic and wanting to piss off Jay, or maybe it was really what he was feeling because he replied:
"You."
Silence.
Jay froze in his tracks. Because he was jogging, he was now stumbling over himself, but luckily, he managed to balance himself upright.
Then he looked at Jungwon with a shocked expression, his feline eyes wide and his mouth slightly agape.
