"Ugh, what's taking them so long," Jungwon grumbled, glancing at the clock in the library. Sunoo laughed, yawning at the same time, stretching his arms over his head. He, Jungwon and Jake were waiting for the other three, to start on their final project.
"Chill, it's only been 5 minutes since our last class," Sunoo assured.
"Still...." Jungwon mumbled, glancing at the glass doors of the library. Suddenly, three guys come crashing through it, causing the librarian and some students to look up from whatever they were doing. Jungwon expected the librarian to scold them, but when her eyes landed on Heeseung, she just shook her head and returned to her book.
"Psh, why do they get that treatment?" Jake complained groggily, waking up from his nap.
"It's the Heeseung effect," Sunoo joked, and Jungwon rolled his eyes. But he had to admit, Heeseung hyung was a cool person. He wasn't those type of bad boys like what most guys in their level tried to be. Even though he hardly paid attention in class, he always scored well during tests and exams. It honestly impressed Jungwon.
"Hey, so sorry we're late," Nicholas apologised, taking his seat in front of Sunoo, which was the seat at the end. Heeseung slid into the chair in font of Jake, which left Jay with the seat in front of Jungwon.
Oh great. Let's just hope he follows instructions, Jungwon thought to himself. He had seen him goofing around with Heeseung and Nicholas during their lecture, not bothering to listen to the details of the project for finals. "Ok so," Jungwon announced, getting everyone's attention, "did all of you understand what the details of this project are?" To his surprise, all of them nodded. He eyes the three guys across of him.
"Chill, Yang. We did. We just got distracted for a while that time," Jay teased, a slight grin on his lips. He still looked at Jungwon coldly though, and Jungwon gave him an equal amount of coldness back.
"Whatever you say, Park," he grumbled and decided to just ignore Jay's snort.
"This project has many parts to it right? Why don't we split up doing it?" Nicholas suggested, and Jungwon agreed. Before he could suggest how to split the 6, Heeseung asked, "Why not we just group ourselves like how we are seated now?"
Wait what.
"I guess that could work," Sunoo agreed, and when Jungwon glared at him, he smirked. Get along with Jay. He seems into you, he mouthed, and Jungwon almost choked on his saliva.
Into me? Him? Ugh, no way. He's so annoying, like even his face is annoying! Jungwon complained to himself, but smiled through the pain and nodded along to Heeseung's suggestion. Heeseung perked up and grinned at Jake, who rolled his eyes. Jungwon didn't mean to be nosy.....but what was that? He glanced at Sunoo who also raised his eyebrows.
"Why not we separate tables now? That way, it'll be easier to do our parts," Heeseung suggested, and stood up. Jake, heaving out of sigh of frustration, followed Heeseung to nearby table near the window.
"Would you want to use this table?" Jay asked Nicholas.
"I don't know," Nicholas said, and Sunoo just glanced at Jungwon. Not really caring, Jungwon stood up. "We'll find a new table. Come on, Jay," he walked away from the former table and found one deeper inside the library. Before leaving though, he turned behind to check on a Sunoo and saw him whispering with Nicholas. They stopped when they caught Jungwon staring at them, and Sunoo grinned, shooing his friend away as Jay fell in step with Jungwon.
Jungwon jumped at his sudden presence. "Aish," he grumbled, walking ahead, and sat down at the table he found. Jay sat in front of him, a slight amused smile on his face. When Jungwon glanced at him, his smile dropped and he looked away.
