Jungwon still couldn't believe it.
Why, out of all places, was he sitting next to Jay?
Aka, cold hearted popular badass jock who was now giving his a cold stare.

Again, cold-hearted.

He didn't know why he followed Sunoo but it was best friend manipulation he guessed. And now he was suffering the worst hour of his life.

"Why do you keep frowning?" Jay asked beside him, almost making Jungwon choke on his grape juice box.

He turned and faced Jay, an expectant look on his face. "Me? You're the one that's dead-ass staring into the side of my head like a psycho," Jungwon threw back, rolling his eyes.
Jay snorted and faced the front. "Well, I'm sorry then, princess."

Princess? What the actual-

"Oh sorry I didn't mean to say that," Jay quickly apologised when he saw Jungwon's side eye at the sudden pet name.
Jungwon scoffed. "Yeah right." He was not going to take Jay's sincerity seriously.

Jay gave an annoyed huff and went back to scrolling through his phone. For the rest of lunch, the two of them just sat there, doing their own thing, while Sunoo kept on flirting with Sunghoon, and Heeseung was trying to get a stubborn Jake's attention.

Just then, Jungwon's phone buzzed and he checked the notification.

[Niki is sus]

Nishi-maimura: istg whoever did that is going to get headlocked by me during class later.

JaiKUE: whoops 😜

Nishi-maimura: HYUNG WHAT THE FISH

JaiKUE: hey don't argue with me, you've been so sus ever since Sunoo-

Jake didn't get to finish his sentence because Niki had already headlocked him with his arm and was at the verge of breaking his neck.
"Hyung I swear-"

"Okay! Fine! I won't say anything!" Jake heaved a breath when Niki released him.

Jungwon tilted his head in their direction. "Wait is this about Niki liking-WHAT THE HELL NIKI?!" Jungwon shouted when Niki threw his empty juice box at him and it smacked him in the face. Jungwon's glasses almost slipped off, but he managed to catch them before they completely fell off his nose.

"Please Hyung, not here!" Niki begged, getting ready with Jake's juice box in case Jungwon started teasing him.

Jungwon held his hands up in surrender. "Ok, fine. But seriously....actually?" That was all Jungwon could ask before getting a brief nod from the younger.
Jungwon sighed. Wow, guess Niki's already moved on.

He mentally slapped himself for thinking that. Of course he moved on, why would Jungwon expect him to reconsider his feelings? Jungwon sank lower in his seat, embarrassed at himself for thinking such thing.

"Why are you sighing?"
At this Jungwon did sigh again, earning himself a laugh from the person next to him

What did this mf want?

"It's nothing," Jungwon answered, not bothering to look at Jay who was slightly smirking. Jungwon didn't catch that though.

"Really? It kinda looked like you were bummed out for a second there. Someone you like likes someone else?" Jay questioned.

Shit, this bish was spot on.

Jungwon looked away. "What? No! It's just me being done with how suddenly there's so many people crushing here and there and like, it's all within my social circle!" Jungwon rambled.
