For the next few days, Jungwon and Niki had been catching up with their friends, hanging out often and sharing tea that happened while they were gone.

"And you know what happened next? He yelled at me, 'but I LOVE you!' when his new boyfriend had come to pick him up!" Heeseung spat out, and everyone was on the floor, laughing at how dumb and stupid the situation/the person was.

They were currently talking about Heeseung's ex boyfriend, and boy was the tea something.

"Oh god and then, the new boyfriend literally dumped him in front of everyone and WHOOO!" Jake added, causing their friends to gasp and scoff.

"Well, serves him right! I bet he's still trying to get you-wait, ACTUALLY?" Niki squawked, when Heeseung inhaled a breath and pursed his lips at what he said.

"Nahhh that's messed up!" the youngest exclaimed.

"Oh my god, you know, the reason why we broke up was because he kept obsessing over his ex before me, and like, I got no attention. Like he would come to me crying he missed his ex like bro, what about me then?" Heeseung explained, and everyone nodded in understanding.

He continued, "And I could like see some triangle forming after I broke up with him. When I was his boyfriend, he kept obsessing over his ex, but now then I'm the ex-"

He was cut off when all of his friends made loud shocked sounds and gasps and there was basically a lot of, "OHHHHHHHH."
At this point, everyone was high at the amount of tea and the intensity of it.

Jungwon rolled to the side of his stomach, and let out an exasperated laugh. Damn, how could he have missed all this?
He had tears in his eyes and was probably looking like a crazy man drunk, when he met gazes with Jay who was resting his chin in his palm.

He stopped laughing, and the two just looked at each other with no words. It had been occurring several times now, and Jungwon took it as a sign that Jay would talk with him anytime about...the whole thing.

He broke eye contact when Heeseung started talking again, but zoned out and just kept on thinking on how to have the conversation with Jay.

After hanging out, Jungwon was about to part ways with the rest of them and follow Heeseung and Jake, when Jay grabbed his wrist.

The interaction made him jump. He turned around and saw Jay's piercing gaze, that said: 'Let's talk now.'

"Hey Heeseung? Can I steal Jungwon for a bit?" He asked the taller. Heeseung raised an eyebrow, questioning Jay telepathically, and understood after Jay gave some look.

"Yeah sure. But be back by six-kidding, kidding," he joked and Jake gave him a weird look, while Niki snorted out a laugh.

They parted ways, leaving the two feline humans alone for the first time ever since the Gbogh Fest.

Jungwon didn't know what to say, and everything was hella awkward. He kicked his shoe as he waited for Jay to say something, his heart thumping slowly against his ribs.

"Wanna go somewhere else?" Jay asked softly, and Jungwon nodded, allowing the taller to drive him to the Han River. When they reached, they sat somewhere on the steps, taking in the beautiful evening.

Then everything was awkward again.

"So..." Jungwon trailed off, but didn't know how to start. Meanwhile, Jay was being a bit too quiet, and when he didn't speak for the next minute, Jungwon looked over at him in concern.

"...Jay? Are you okay?" He bend over his knees to try and look at Jay's face, which was hiding behind his bangs.
Jungwon definitely did not expect his sudden piercing gaze to meet his surprised one.
