"Goood morning-AHHHH" Niki yelled, waking up at least three people in the dorm and all the dorms beside them.
"Oh my god, must you do that?" Geonu groaned, rubbing the side of his head, messing up his already messy hair. Jungwon and Sunoo also stirred awake.
"The fu-since when did you get here?" Niki answered instead, pointing at Geonu who was lying on a separate mattress beside Sunoo, while Jungwon was on the bed.
"Since I came home yesterday....at 10?" Geonu frowned, trying to recall.
"Niki, you were asleep," Jungwon groggily said, closing his eyes as he sat up.
Niki rolled his eyes and walked out of the room, obviously leaving the door open. One by one, the three of them headed out for breakfast, where Jake was in the kitchen with Daniel and Taki.
"Ah, there you guys are!" Jake grinned and served them their breakfast, some toast and bungeongppang. Niki immediately sat down, sliding into the seat Sunoo pulled out. "Hehe, sorry, hyung," he said when Sunoo made an offended face.
"Yoi...." Jungwon greeted, sitting down and lying his head on the table.
"Yoi so sad?" Jake joked, "ok I know it's cringe there was a pun intended," he assured when he saw Jungwon's 'are you serious' stare. Niki scoffed and the rest of them stifled a laugh.
"Yeahhh, it was so obvious," Jungwon teased, and Jake rolled his eyes.
"You look tired though," Jake pointed out.
Jungwon sat up straight and immediately stared at Sunoo's head, who was clearly ignoring the cat's annoyed expression. Sunoo continued munching on his toast.
"Kim Sunoo...." Jake trailed off, and a cheeky smile appeared on Sunoo's lips. Immediately, Jungwon drops the bomb.
"THIS DUDE WAS SQUEALING SO LOUDLY WHILE TEXTING SUNGHOON I ONLY SLEPT AT 1 TODAY!" Jungwon yelled, practically throwing his arms in thr air. After he did, Sunoo, Niki, Geonu and Daniel started giggling uncontrollably. Jake just shook his head like he was just so done with these kids.
"Y'all need some naughty corner or something?" he questioned, causing several head shakes from a few people.
Jungwon just huffed out an air of frustration. But a small smile took over his lips when he remembered how pink Sunoo was last night, texting Sunghoon.
"So we start today?" Sunoo's voice caught his attention, and Jungwon turned to him. "Hm?" he replied.
"The project," Jake repeated and Jungwon nodded. Right, today they were going to start that. He took a bite of his bungeongppang, munching on it as he remembered who they were working with.
There was Heeseung, who he knew now was Geonu's older brother. He seemed friendly, and smart. He'd probably be able to work with him.
Secondly, Nicholas. He was also quite approachable, but Jungwon didn't know about smart. He did overhear him say he didn't do the homework properly....
Finally, there was Jay. He had heard about him recently. His Dad was the CEO of a tour company and his Mum was a teacher in this high school, but she mostly taught the freshmen and sophomores. He had seen her around before, and she was always having a bright smile on her face. Everyone loved her, and a lot expected her son to be quite lovable too.
But nobody expected the total opposite.
Jay always gave off cold vibes. He never smiled, or at least Jungwon thought. I mean, he didn't even smile when we met yesterday to partner up, He chewed on his bottom lip. Was this guy even committed to do anything? Jungwon was afraid he was that type of student to slack off and let his teammates do all the work in a group project.
But...he seemed pretty okay and he did do his work.
Even with his cold demeanour, there were always girls and guys still falling for him. He had the sharpest jawline Jungwon had ever seen, and his fierce piercing eyes, captured a lot of people's hearts. There were even rumours that he would look the cutest when he smiled, which was rarely seen since he didn't just smile at anyone. Girls called him a tsundere...
Jungwon shook his head, clearing all those thoughts. Jay had still yet to prove to him he was actually going to help. He wasn't going to believe some delulu people's shit just because they said that.
"Jungwon? You good?" Jake asked, shaking the younger's shoulder.
Jungwon snapped out of his thoughts, looking up at Jake. He blinked and Jake gave him an amused grin. "I asked, are you good?" Jungwon blinked a few more times before nodding. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine."
"I'm going to go get ready now," he informed Jake, and his hyung nodded. He quickly changed out of his pajamas and prepared to go to school.
Okay, let's do this.
——
"Good morning, Jungwon!" Jungwon heard Heeseung's voice from behind him. He turned around, as well as his friends, and spotted Heeseung with his gang, heading towards them.
Jungwon and his friends waited for them. As soon as they were near enough, Heeseung grinned at Jungwon. Jungwon smiled a bit, greeting him back. Then, Heeseung turned to Jake. "Hey, Jake," he greeted shyly.
"Uh...hey," Jake mumbled back.
Jungwon's eyes widened and he looked over at the rest of his friends, including Geonu who was beside his hyung. They just gave him the same reaction and shrugged.
"You all ready for later?" Nicholas asked, breaking the silence. Sunoo nodded enthusiastically, trying to avoid the awkwardness.
"That's great!" Heeseung cheered, smiling. Jungwon smiled back, but soon realised one of them hasn't spoken yet. He turned his attention to Jay, who was quietly staring at Jungwon and was taken aback at how intense Jay's stare was. He immediately shifted his gaze to look at something else.
Was is this creep doing? Jungwon avoided his stare at all cost, only to look at him again after he turned away to look at Heeseung.
Jay looked extra stylish today, with his coat hanging over his simple white shirt and he wore black jeans to match the tone. He looked really focused and was listening intently to what Heeseung was saying. Jungwon noticed how he would pout a little when he was focused.
That 's kinda cute...
Wait what? Cute? Yang Jungwon, what are you thinking right now? Out! Your dirty thoughts!
Jungwon bit his top lip as he refreshed his brain, staying clear of intrusive thoughts. Suddenly, Jay caught his eye again and this time, before Jungwon could look away, he smirked slightly.
What the fuck?
