Jungwon's POV

Jungwon had no idea why or how he just did that. All he knew was, before he started talking back to Seo-Jin, he made up his mind and decided to defend Jay.

Aish, screw it. This was for the man I loved anyway, he had thought and started fighting Seo-Jin verbally, chanting that in his head.

And now it wouldn't leave. The man he loved? What the hell was he thinking? Did he love Jay?

Well, he couldn't have if he didn't put the woman in her place.

But he did. He did do all that stuff. And since when did he have such observant skills like that? 'Where's the ring?' DAMN JUNGWON. (a/n he's talking to himself by the way 😊)

He sighed and looked back, seeing that Jay was gone. He probably went to find his friends. To be honest, Jungwon wasn't mad at Jay anymore. He was just pissed that he decided to show up after telling him to never contact each other again.

But his heart softened when he had heard the taller's soft but vragile voice when he said, "But it was for a reason.."
Jungwon wanted to know more. What reason? What could have been so important that Jay needed to marry Seo-Jin?
He shook his head and cleared all those thoughts. Not tonight. Now, he was going to enjoy the time with his friends.

"Jungwon!" Sunoo beamed when he reached the small group that had gathered. Sunghoon, Gen and Heeseung had joined them, and they smiled when they saw him.

"Welcome back!" Gen greeted, giving him a warm hug.

"Thanks," Jungwon replied. He scanned around and frowned when he realised someone was missing.

"Where's Niki and Hana?" He asked, tip-toeing to look over the crowd.

"Right here!" Hana yelled, entering the small circle with Niki right behind. She glared at him, and the taller just laughed his head off while facing the other side.

"Um, what happened?" Jungwon questioned, glancing at a pouting Sunoo, who was staring at the interaction between Hana and Niki.

Niki let out a breath and pointed at the younger, who was crossing her arms and her cheeks pink. "This...girl..was...HAHAHAHA!"

"He embarrassed me!" Hana argued, puffing up her cheeks and Niki just continued laughing. The others stared at him, amused and confused at the same time.

"Is he high?" Heeseung asked and Jake smacked his boyfriend's arm.

"Or is this some stage?" Sunghoon joked and Niki just continued giggling and clutching his stomach.

"HEY WHAT HAPPENEDDDD??" Taki yelled, reminding everyone why they were staring at him in the first place.

"We," Niki heaved in a breath, "saw this cute guy. Like, 'Hana-thought-he-was-cute' cute," he teased and Hana blushed. Jungwon gasped, eyes wide as he faced Hana.

"So, I initiated things," Niki laughed when Hana smacked his chest, ears turning a dark shade of red.

K gaped at Niki. "Nishimura, what did you do?"

Niki held his hands up. "I swear, I didn't do much...just maybe push Hana- A TINY BIT- and *ahem, telling him she thought he was cute?"

Everyone burst out laughing and whooped, while poor Hana was at the verge of tearing the hairs on her head off. Gen giggled slightly while patting her back, and comforted her.

"Oh, you messed up, man," Heeseung chuckled, patting Niki on the shoulder. The younger just smiled proudly, but it disappeared when Hana smacked his head.
Jungwon smiled at his friends, who were goofing around. It was nice being like this again. But he still glanced out into the crowd, hoping that one person will join soon....
